Very nice tour! Love the ship! So relaxing and we got to see the French Quarter Festival from the water! Had a great time!
The steamboat staff were extremely accomodating and genuinely willing to help and make sure your experience was the best possible. Special shout out to Gina!
the great part was the Nachez.....the river was just another industrial waterway.....the steamboat justified the price. the staff was very nice and helpful. we did not have the buffett.....
Trip was very informative. The engine room is open to passengers and is interesting. An actual steam engine. Had lunch. Food was good and very reasonable.
This was a blast, short enough to really get to see some exciting things but not take up the entire day. Staff was great and friendly, fun time.
We learned lots! Great trip to take when your feet need a rest from all the walking. Awesome band loved the organ musical prior to boarding.
Excellent food lady bartender up stairs awsome music was great should get heaters when its cold outside
What a great experience. Very well organized. The ride is great, phenomenal music and food!!! If you in NOLA you must take a ride with the steamboat Natchez.
It was one of the large and best steam boat cruises we have ever taken. The view along the Mississippi River was spectacular despite of a cloudy day. We learned a lot about local culture and history. The service staff was super friendly and really helpful. Lunch table was specially reserved for our party even with a nice touch of fresh flowers decorated and the food was delicious. We enjoyed music and dance during our dining. Everyone had great time. Thank you!
We had been on a river cruise in NOLA before but without the lunch option. We are glad we chose to have lunch as the food at the buffet was surprisingly delicious! The jazz band was wonderful also, playing lots of jazz and blues favorites. In spite of the close to 1000 people on this Christmas eve cruise, boarding was very smooth.
It was a nice cruise. The boat was clean. The staff was very friendly and the lunch was great. All in all, it was a nice trip
Really great experience lots of historical information great jazz music and really great hurricanes. Only thing I would do different would be to book the buffet lunch or dinner cruise food smelt and looked great!
Fun tour of the river in and out of New Orleans. Great sights and interesting information provided by the tour guide. If you are on the deck, it is hard to hear the Jazz Band.
A very pleasant afternoon on board the Natchez paddle wheel boat. Interesting narrative as we enjoyed delicious regional food. Live jazz band played lively music for our enjoyment. Great way to begin our visit to New Orleans.
It had a good time on the Natchez. I booked it with the lunch and the buffet was good. It takes a little till the boat departs so I would recommend to take lunch in the first slot. When you are finished the boat departs and you can sit outside and watch the landscape.
We did the afternoon tour with no lunch, but as this is Louisiana, there was plenty of booze available! Shay and Saundra were working the bar upstairs and they were so friendly and funny. They gave great service and recommendations for restaurants and bars to try while in town. Thank you ladies, you rock!
This was an absolute blast! More fun that we were expecting! It was hot and humid, so the breeze on the boat was fabulous! The food was really good, and the cajun marys were tasty too! We enjoyed the outside decks while the first group had lunch, then they went out on the decks and we were sat in the dining room. While on the decks, the captain shared all kinds of cool facts, so he was a great tour guide. The food was a buffet of red beans and rice, jambalaya, cajun fish, andouille sausage, grilled chicken and bread. There was also a dessert that I didnt get to try, but everything was great, and you could go back for seconds if you wanted. We were sat really close to the jazz band, which was also close to the bar, so we had the best table in the house! We were in NOLA for 4 days, and this was definitely a highlight of our trip! Kids as well as adults would enjoy this adventure...we were 7 women on a girls trip and we loved it!
The experience was awesome. The food was delicious and the band was phenominal. It was romantic and relaxing.
We booked the lunch cruise...the staff, food, band and experience was great! Would do it againif back in NOLA!!! Worth the time, knowledge and money!
