This tour was great! We saw all the sights that we wanted to see and with the very informative commentary of our tour guide learned many things along the way. Our guide was fantastic and included little facts and information that were fun to know and the five stops were all worthwhile. Lunch at the Farmer's Market was terrific and we would recommend this tour for a great day in L.A.
Our tour was excellent. Everything I was hoping to see in LA in one day! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. All around wonderful experience. It is a tour you want to take if your time is limited in LA or if you want to have an idea of where you would like to go back to and spend some time. It was really neat to take pictures with the Hollywood sign in the background. Would recommend it to anyone going to LA.
Had a great time but, would have liked to have seen more of Santa Monica beach not just driving past it.
This was a fun trip. My husband and I were in the area for two days and had nothing planned. I found this trip and we were pleasantly surprised by how well it was planned and how easy it was to make reservations (even just the day before). We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel doorstep which was a nice plus! The driver was very nice and extremely knowledgeable of the area as he grew up there. We were able to see so many sites that day and didn't have to try to drive ourselves. I would definitely recommend taking this trip especially for the convenience.
Well it was a good experience overall and we a family of 3 had fun but would like to mention here that iconic places like Dolby and Kodak theatre were just shown from outside and should have been given a stop there to take some pictures....we will surely recommend this tour.... cheers
Our guide, Kevin, was knowledgeable and funny. We saw all we needed to see although time at stops was extremely limited--there is only so much you can do in one day. (PLUS you can always go back to what you want to see more of.) We appreciated very much that Viator provided an Uber back to our hotel at the end of the tour. Some suggestions: to guides: this is a family tour--please be aware of what music you play on the bus (some of the words were inappropriate for anyone let alone children) and for guests: if your hotel is far from the pick up point, it would be better for you to meet at the last location (take an Uber or drive and park) so as to not have 2.5 hours on a bus before the tour starts. Thank you Viator--we will use your services again!
Great day out time at each stop was enough, guide was very informative and very friendly would recommend this tour.
Excellent day, very infomative nice and relaxed. Brilliant touch, helping us get to and from pick up points. Even sorting an uber out each way. Highly recommended this trip. Well done
It was a full day packed with interesting information from our driver Joe. We could have never visited all these sights in a day otherwise. We think we made a very good choice for our LA tour!
Nice day, informative tour guide (Kevin), who had many showbiz back stories to share. Only downside is the long day caused by hotel pick up and drop off and traffic delays. Would recommend.
I was in Los Angeles for the weekend and wanted to see as much as I could. This tour was perfect! Our guide (I believe his name was John?) was excellent, very knowledgeable and fun. He was prepared for the rainy morning and had rain ponchos for everyone which was MUCH appreciated. As a first-time visitor to LA and a solo traveler, this tour allowed me to feel comfortable and safe by traveling with a group, while also giving me the opportunity to explore independently at each stop. We had 35-45 minutes at each place to walk around and do whatever we wanted which I loved (vs. having to walk around as a big group). I also appreciated the option for a direct hotel pick-up and drop-off. This tour was easily worth the money. I doubt I could have gone the same route in an Uber or Lyft for the price of this tour. Would highly recommend it for anyone looking to see the highlights of the greater Los Angeles area!
Loved our guide Collin--he was warm, knowledgeable and passionate. Every stop showed another treasure of the city. Was the easiest way to cover a lot of territory by far. Also liked that the buses small enough to park right where we wanted to be.
My relatives had a beautifull experience during the tour in Los Angeles. Thia ia musi tour for ouside visitor to our city.
Our first stop was Venice Beach. I got so excited that I headed straight for the ocean, and did not take a good look where the bus dropped us off. All the streets look similar, and had hard time finding the bus. Also, the last stop is Hollywood main tourist drag - you can choose to hang out there rather than go back to your hotel. It might make sense make dinner reservations near there and see a show. Since your right there anyway
A Day in LA was a fun filled way to experience the City of Angels solo. The tour started in Santa Monica which was beautiful- I grabbed breakfast before at places a block away at blue daisy. Then got to see all the cool sights Venice,Beverly Hills, Hollywood and The Getty museum. The tour guide was funny and full of cool LA historical facts or urban legends:) I would definitely recommend this tour especially for someone travelling solo. Afterward, I stopped in Santa Monica for A beautifulHappy hour and sunset st a restaurant on Ocean Ave. Have fun!
Im a single traveller and it was perfect. Met new people and families seemed to enjoy the tour as well. Hit all the spots i needed to see in my short trip and. The tour was worth every penny, I would have paid more in paid parking at all the locations. It was a last minute purchase and highly recommended
