Day 1: Las Vegas– Grand Canyon– Lake Powell
Leave Las Vegas behind as you start the day traveling southeast through the scenic desert. Travel through a Navajo Indian reservation toward the south bank of the majestic Grand Canyon in Arizona. As you tour the south bank, learn from your guide how the Colorado River has been carving its way through the earth for hundreds of thousands of years. You’ll be in awe of the size and grandeur of the Grand Canyon.
After lunch, continue along the canyon, stopping at authentic Native American markets to browse the handmade arts and crafts. You’ll also have time to leisurely shop and enjoy the unique marketplace atmosphere.
Once you have finished shopping, head toward Lake Powell, one of the most beautiful lakes in America. Arrive at the lake in the late afternoon and check in at the Best Value Inn Page near the lake, where you’ll stay overnight.
Overnight – Best Value Inn Page, Lake Powell
Day 2: Lake Powell– Bryce Canyon (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a scenic ride to Lake Powell and take a boat cruise on the water. On board, see hundreds of private coves and the famous salt pillars. You’ll also get a chance to walk around the lake and view the famous red sand arches characteristic of this area.
After the cruise, head west across the border and arrive at Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah. The canyon is home to some of the most amazing natural sculptures in the world. The delicately carved spires, pillars, arches and amphitheaters make the national park strikingly beautiful. Learn about the geological makeup of each of these one-of-a-kind natural sculptures.
Your guided tour will take you to see amazing rock and sand sculptures honed to perfection over thousands of years of rain, wind and sunshine. Head to one of the vista points in the park to experience a stunning sunset, whose dramatically changing colors will leave you mesmerized. Spend a comfortable night at the Shilo Inn Kanab.
Overnight: Days Inn in Kanab, Utah
Day Three: Zion Park– Las Vegas (B)
Enjoy a continental breakfast at the hotel and then visit Zion National Park. Learn from your guide how the Virgin River was primarily responsible for slowly paring through layers of rock to sculpt Zion Canyon. Admire the awe-inspiring beauty of the high plateaus, striking towers, temples, mesas and one of the earth's tallest-known sheer sandstone walls.
You’ll also encounter breathtaking, picturesque sites like the Court of the Patriarchs, Angel's Landing, the Great White Throne, the Temple of Sinawava and Weeping Rock while taking small hikes. Take time on your own to hike around and discover the natural beauty of Zion National Park. The park is truly a photographer's paradise, where the vistas are stunning from every point on the compass. Enjoy a relaxing walk along the river before meeting your group at the vehicle and heading back to Las Vegas.

Excellent tour from Las Vegas late in the season in late October. Three things made this tour especially enjoyable: 1 Small group of only 8 participants on a mini-bus. 2 Excellent guide Manuel and safe bus driver Ricardo, and 3 Perfect sunny weather every day. Itinerary was well planned and every park visited was unique. Time spent at each location was adequate. At the Grand Canyon we were able to view the beauty from two spots on the rim. At Bryce Canyon we hiked to the bottom of a narrow canyon. At Zion we drove through a canyon the entire east to west width of the park and stopped for a delightful hike to a waterfall. I thought Lake Powell would be a routine boat ride, but the passage through narrow Antelope Canyon was spectacular. First night accommodation at the Page Clarion Inn was excellent in all ways. The second night at Kanab Days Inn was a couple notches lower that is my only complaint about the tour. I appreciated not needing to drive and was able to enjoy the scenery along the way.
We highly recommend this tour. Well organized, LOTS of sightseeing and learning along the way. Saya was an amazing tour guide.
This is a must do tour. All three canyons are amazing and so different. We had a great tour guide Manual and a very good driver Glen. Our stops were well timed. We had plenty of time to enjoy the scenery and take pictures. Plenty of rest stops, good hotels , and reasonably priced food stops.
We want to give this trip a five star rating. We covered a lot of miles in those three days and the parks are sites are breathtaking. We felt very safe with our driver, Jose, and enjoyed our Tour guide, Manuel, who was informative and humorous. We would travel with Viator again.
We my husband as well as my mother and his all give a 5 star for this tour! The bus and accommodations were comfortable and the parks absolutely worth the visit. Our driver, Robert, safely and comfortably drove us and Manual, our guide, was informative and entertaining. The bus stops were spaced just right and the length of time to visit at each stop was perfect. My husband and I will return to do some hiking and camping. The tour was great first experience and perfect for our mothers.
This was our first time visitng the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Bryce Canyon, and Zion National Park. I can't think of a better way to see these beutiful and amazing places. It was wonderful to be on a tour that took care of everything. We were taken to the best views and given great information during the drive and at each destination. Our tour guide, Ingrid, knew so much about the area, as well as how to best meet our needs along the way. Great value for so very much!
When you're in Vegas for a week and want a change of pace this is an excellent tour to take. We booked prior to our holiday and arranged it so we returned to Vegas for our last night. Although we covered a 1000 miles in 3 days, visiting 3 states with early starts it didn't feel at all stressful or tiring. The tour's very well organised, with regular stops - the maximum travel without a stop was 2 hrs. In between we caught up on sleep if there was nothing of interest to see - the coach was comfortable with reclining seats and foot rests. We were lucky as there were only 17 of us and everyone was friendly and polite and adhered to the guides instructions.
Although I'd been to the Grand Canyon twice before, we went to a different viewpoint on the South Rim where a tiny glimpse of the Colorado was visible and the Canyon stretched out before us - it's true what they say - it has a presence you can feel as you gaze in awe. Because everyone was back on the coach when they were supposed to be, we were able to visit the Desert View Watchtower which, in my opinion, had an even better view. Our first night was spent in Flagstaff - the hotel was clean and comfortable but places to eat were sparse. When we returned to the room after eating at a Sizzler I saw that the room service menu was quite good and wished we'd ordered from there instead.
Next day we travelled to Lake Powell for a boat trip - it's so beautiful there. The trip took about an hour and there is an audio which you can listen to. We then went on to Bryce Canyon and walked down to the bottom of the Navajo Loop Trail which descends about 500 ft. I'd worried the climb back up may have been a bit strenuous, but because the path has many switchbacks, it was relatively easy we're 55 and 57. It helped that the tour timed it so that the sun was not beating down on us. The canyon was amazing full of hoodoo formations and with huge fir trees growing straight as a die. The second night we stayed in Kanab. I had already made a reservation for Sego the restaurant in the hotel next to ours having read the reviews and it didn't disappoint. We nearly came unstuck however. I'd reserved it for 8pm but didn't know that Utah is another hour ahead so it was a bit of a rush but we made it. There are quite a few other places to eat in Kanab. Next day we visited Zion, different again as the coach goes to the bottom of the canyon and 1000 ft cliffs tower above you. A shuttle bus takes you further than the coaches are allowed they stay at the Lodge car park and is a good way to see what hiking routes the canyon has to offer. It's also good if it's raining - we had driven through a thunderstorm. The weather cleared for us to walk around for a bit but it was too late to do a hike. We had a buffet lunch at an all you can eat place on the way back to Vegas can't remember the name of it. I didn't really fancy it, but it turned out to be good value and the food was pretty decent. During the tour we'd also stopped at a couple of Indian trading posts which were good for souvenirs/mementos.
It was obvious that a lot of thought had gone into the planning of this tour and we were really impressed - it left us with the desire to see more of the National Parks. Our guide, Manuel, was excellent as was the driver Joselito?.
Our guide Emanuele Mengotti was excellent. Our driver Chin was excellent as well. We highly recommend this trip as a great way to see some of the most beautiful spots in America. Thank YOU both for a memorable trip.
Great trip! This tour is a wonderful way to see three beautiful canyons in 3 days. Plenty of rest stops and good restaurant choices for lunch and dinner. Ingrid was great, and so was our driver, Leo. Highly recommend!!
This trip was fantastic. It was well planned and everything went well. The tour guides, Ingrid, Alicio and Chang driver were wonderful. I highly recommend this tour with Viator.
We had a wonderful time. Giovanni was our guide and we just loved him!! He was fun and very knowledgeable and kind. Anthony was our driver, and he was a very excellent driver, I felt very safe and I sat in the front seat! We met people from all over the world, Italy, Israel, Russia, Japan, China, etc. By the end of the trip everyone was like a big family. We covered over 1000 miles in 3 days. While I wish we could have had a little more time at the first 2 stops, I realized that in order to see all that we saw we needed to do that. The motels were ok, we slept well and ate well. The gift shops were affordable and fun. Advise....bring water and lots of it. Bring snacks for the bus, and bring a pillow to nap in between stops. The bus had charging stations or each seat but no Wi-Fi. I think I took 1000 pictures! I would defiantly do a trip through Viator again. The trip was exactly as presented. The canyons were AMAZING I still can see it in my minds eye. The beauty blew us away! I felt very satisfied with our trip and the cost. Giovanni and Anthony were GREAT together. I look forward to traveling again on a Viator tour.
This tour was Amazing! Ingrid our tour guide was very organized and went out of her way to ensure that the trip was flawless. Ricardo our bus driver was fantastic. This dynamic duo made our family vacation extra special. The National Parks were breathtaking. All of the stops were a feast for the eye
It was an excellent tour and delivered as promised. The lodging during the trip was very nice, and Manual, as the tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable and very likeable. Anthony, the driver did a nice job as well. I would recommend this tour.
The tour guide was very friendly and lively. The lady driver was one of the best I have seen - very sweet and helpful. Under their guidance the tour went smooth without a glitch, on time. Suggestion: there seems to be enough time to accommodate the Antelope Canyon tour in there somewhere. The trouble guide should tell haw much time do we have at each spot - and not just clock time to return because the clock time changes with time zone. Also, in the first part of the journey, the bus had a funky smell apparently because the restroom in the rear was not cleaned/dumped prior to starting the tour. That should never happen. Viator owners please take note I am giving five stars hoping it will never happen again.
This is a wonderful tour in every way. Manuel was a great guide, and Greg a great driver. Hotels were good, food stops too, except for the smorg at St Georges, was surprised to have to pay more than 16 u.s. for lunch. As a Canadian, that hurt. It was too late to back out as they had poured my drink and I was caught in a lineup, so I felt trapped and wished I had joined my friend who had opted out. This country is so beautiful, and I could not stop trying to take photos through bus window, which does not give great results! I wish we had stopped more at the most amazing areas. I did the hike at Mt. Zion which was most satisfying, since I love hiking. The boat trip was amazing too! All in all, very glad I booked it.
We are very happy to have Ingrid as our guide. She is knowledgeable, funny and accommodating.
We left the Luxor hotel on Oct. 16th for our tour. Ingrid H., our tour guide did an AMAZING job. She was well versed in her knowledge, very personal and always made sure we were all taken care of and settled in before her own needs. She even went as far as helping deliver the guests the food we ordered when the kitchen was running behind. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone and would be blessed to have Ingrid as your guide! A special thank you to Leo for driving us safely there and back!
