Meet your guide across from the Water Tower Place shopping mall in Chicago’s Near North Side at your selected time. Hop aboard a luxury climate-controlled coach and begin your 1.5-2 hour tour of the history of Chicago crime, from 19th century to today.
Your guide will share the lawless history of Chicago’s criminals, gangsters and mobsters as you explore the city’s most famous crime scenes. Your tour takes you through River North, the Gold Coast, Lincoln Park, Old Town, the Loop and Magnificent Mile.
Hear fascinating stories about Al Capone, The Untouchables, the Chicago Mob, John Dillinger, ‘Terrible’ Tommy O'Conner, Leopold and Loeb and ‘Cap’ George Streeter, all who made their notorious criminal mark on Chicago. Grab your camera for a ‘drive-by shooting’ of the historic criminal courthouse, an architectural landmark where some of Chicago's most famous cases were tried.
Stake out crime scenes including the Biograph Theatre, Holy Name Cathedral, and see the site of the 1929 St Valentine's Day Massacre, one of Chicago's most notorious murder scenes. This Prohibition-era conflict between two powerful Chicago gangs -- the South Side gang led by Al Capone and the North Side gang led by Bugs Moran -- ended in the brutal murder of seven Mob members.
In addition to your comfortable, narrated drive through the city, you’ll also hop off the coach to visit some areas by foot for a more immersive experience. Your guide will offer in-depth narration as you follow the path that Chicago gangsters John Dillinger and Hymie Weiss walked right before their deaths.
Hop back on the coach and return to the Near North Side to conclude your Chicago crime and gangsters tour.

Our tour guide Shannon was very informative, engaging and funny! I would highly recommend going on this tour. My family and I learned a lot about the history of the Chicago crime scene... we give the tour thumbs up across the board....
Thanks to our tour guide. Who was so funny and informational. We all had a great time. We will be back again.
Wonderful experience of The Windy Citys rather forgetful crime ridden past. Guide was very informative even dropping a few dad jokes in for good measure. Well worth it
We Took the crime mob tour and absolutely loved it. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered all questions any of us have. I would highly recommend this tour with that specific Tour guide again.
Excellent- our tour card Shannon was fabulous- knowledgeable and lots of fun.We would highly recommend the tour and Shannon
FUN!! Great stories. Great to see other parts of Chicago we might not have otherwise made it to see.
After seeing that this tour was so highly rated, I decided I must do it on my trip to Chicago. I was definitely not dissapointed. Our tour guide Anna was a blast, gave us lots of history, kept it fun for everyone and had great jokes relating to the subject at hand.
We had enough time at each location, to look around and take photos. The bus seats were also very comfortable.
Loved it! a lot of stories you would not know so easily! and very comfortable way to move within the city!
Love, love, loved! So much fun and the tour guide was a fantastic storyteller. Must-do in Chicago!
Over all good, our guide knew his facts and made it interesting
On a bitterly cold day in late December, my 2 sons and I decided to take the Chicago Crime and Mob tour. It was a full bus and Ben, our guide, was one of the many highlights. He had many amusing stories about all of the places we visited. It was a great way to see the sites. Others told us that the architectural tour and food tasting tours were both great, too. We had a blast.
This was fun and informative. Highly recommended if you are in Chicago.
Loved it - driving round in a plush limo bus, with all the history of the mob and the Chicago gangsters - what can beat that as a way to spend an afternoon.
A really fun and informative little tour. We had a fantastic guide - seriously, we hardly ever looked out of the windows because our guide was a pure joy to watch and listen to. While on location he would involve us in a bit of a role-play, which was a really nice touch. The A/C on the bus is fierce so remember to wear something warm.
The crime and mob tour was such a perfect way to spend a drizzly Saturday. My mom and I booked this tour last minute as we were trying to find something to do since the weather was other than perfect, and this tour couldn't have been better. Our tour guide, Sheila, was so much fun and so informative. This was such a great way to learn more about Chicago's storied past and see some of the sites I've always read about.
Fun, interesting, and learned Chicago Crime history! Nice air-conditioned bus with outlets to charge your phone.
