Lovely day spent on the USS Midway. All the volunteers on the boat chip in with talks about their experience during our walk around. Very interesting day.
I had one afternoon off during a business conference to explore. This was a lovely place to visit. Lots of history and wonderful people who work on the ship.
We truly enjoyed spending a few hours here. The grandchildren loved being able to sit in some of the planes. We were so impressed by the retired navy pilots who work on the USS Midway and share their true life experiences. Don't miss visiting this wonderful museum.
Don’t miss this awesome visit! And make sure you make time for the Voices of Midway movie for a look at the battle that changed the tide of the war. The ship is amazing and the docents are well-spoken and knowledgeable.
The staff are very patient and hospitable. We visited the facilities on all aircraft carriers. I like it very much.
An unbelivable tour, lots of jets, many things to see, friendly volunteers, many good gifts to buy. A must go in San Diego!
