What a great day! We saw and learned so much about Brooklyn! It was truly amazing and the food stops were fabulous! We canceled our dinner plans afterwards because we were stuffed! Our Guide, Rick, truly loves what he does and as a result, it was a great way to experience Brooklyn and a very memorable day!
For Father's Day, I booked the Food and Cultural Tour of Brooklyn for my family. Rick was our tour guide and Carlos was our driver. The weather was threatening so it was a relief to be in a luxury bus for the tour. Very little walking required, although we could have used it given the amount of food we ate. Rick's knowledge of Brooklyn was beyond compare. I found it all facinating, and he was an absolute pleasure. The food stops included a meatball, falafel, pierogies and kielbasa, cannoli, chocolates, pizza and more. All the best of their neighborhoods. It was a great day. Could not recommend it enough. Thank you Rick and Carlos for such a great day.
Mr Rick (tour guide) and Mr Jerome (bus driver) truly showed us the best of Brooklyn’s food culture! Safe and comfortable bus transportation. Loved how Mr Rick gave us the history backgrounds of the neighborhoods and food culture. So much food is provided to taste.
Thank you Oasis, Table 87, Krolewskie Jadlo, Monteleone Bakery and Jacques Torres for your hospitality and great tasting food and desserts! Highly recommend this tour and these 4 places!
Also Appreciated the communication with the tour company. They really made sure we were properly informed with the pick up time, place and tour guide.
The tour was great the guide was excellent would recommend for good introduction to Brooklyn. all the stops were great
Tour was superior. Good fun interesting info delicious food
Great tour guide and bus driver
Excellent tour of Brooklyn with history, tastes of different parts of the borough. The tour guide was fantastic
We had a very knowledgeable guide, nice variety of foods, just the right length tour. The driver made it easy to access all sites.
Awesome tour with Rick and Jerome (driver). The food was great and both were really knowledgeable. Very much enjoyed.
Everything about this tour was terrific. Our guide, Laurie, was kind, funny, and knowledgeable. The food was excellent--and there was so much of it. Plan to skip dinner following the tour--you'll be stuffed. A real plus was seeing how much my adult son enjoyed the tour. He moved to Brooklyn a month ago and really wants to get to know the place better. I noticed that he bookmarked in Yelp all the places Laurie mentioned so that he can visit them with friends. Foods of NY Yours and Laurie, many thanks for a super day.
Great way to learn more about Brooklyn and enjoy some great food samples along the way. Our tour guide and driver were excellent and we received a lot of historical information during the tour . A nice group of people about 20 and a great way to see Brooklyn. Great value too!
My family loved and enjoyed this tour. Thank you to Mr. Rick for introducing Brooklyn to us. Quite educational, cultural and fun. Thank you also to Jerome (Navy Veteran) for being friendly and a good driver. Rick's knack for telling a story makes every boring book exciting. He's a gifted tour guide that knows how to capture his audience by the way he expressed his thoughts and feelings. He's real passionate at what he does. Thank you Rick...when the trip was over, we felt like we have known Brooklyn for a while. Like I told you at the end of the trip, you put the
Fantastic, interesting, well run. Tasty. Went to Polish restaurant, ate pizza, falafal, meatballs, chocolate, and Italian cannolis! Very little walking, the way I like it! The tour bus was very comfortable.
I really enjoyed learning about the history of the neighborhoods we visited in Brooklyn. In addition to the 6 selected Brooklyn neighborhoods Rick also provided great information about Greenwich VIllage and The Bowery.
The establishments selected for food were all unique and tasty. The falafel was my favorite dish on the tour. Rick provided lots of information that helped prepared me for the last 2 days of my trip to NYC. The driver Jerome did an excellent job. I cannot imagine driving in the NYC traffic and Jerome made it easy. Definitely take this tour! I am considering staying in Brooklyn on my next visit and exploring some of the neighborhoods in more detail.
Great food tour! The guide was knowledgeable, friendly and guest conscious! Would go on this tour again in a minute!
Amazing. Worth the money. Excellent guide, excellent driver. Drop off in DUMBO and perfect pictures of the Brooklyn Bridge. Highly recommend walking back to downtown Manhattan over the Brooklyn Bridge if the weather is nice.
The food was good, the tour guide was the best we've ever had on any kind of tour. Fantastic and highly recommended.
