Great tour to get an overview of the city and to learn tid bits that you wouldn’t know otherwise. Our tour guide was funny, informative and very helpful.
We enjoyed this tour very much. Our tour guide was awesome. He was a wealth of information and provided an opportunity for us to get some great pictures. We really feel like we got a good overview of Memphis.
This was a great way to see everything without driving around and trying to park. The tour guide/bus driver was great! We could have used more time at the Peabody after the duck show to go up to the roof for a few minutes.
This was our 3rd visit to Graceland in 10 years. And boy, has it become more commercialised in that time. I am not sure whether this is for the better, to be honest. There is even a Lisa Marie exhibition, now. And mini exhibitions dedicated to Marty Stuart, Johnny Cash and other who may be a bit relevant to Elvis, and Chris Izaak who maybe a bit relevant, but Kacey Musgraves? (who I adore, but Elvis?). The Memphis tour was also great, but a little strange. We drove past the Lorraine Motel with a little explanation from our driver, but we stopped for 20 minutes at the St Jude Hospital for Children. We did fo the ducks at the Peabody, though, which was unexpected. From the above, please, don't think these are criticisms, merely observations. The tour is well worth taking!
First trip to Memphis ... Mr. Boyce was our Tour Guide. He was funny, entertaining and very knowledgeable. He gave us some recommendations for restaurants also. The Memphis City Tour was really good. We made several stops including St. Jude and The Welcome City. Along the way, lots of the must-see places were pointed out to us. The Graceland Tour was overwhelming. You could spend hours there. Highly recommend this tour if this is your first trip to Memphis.
Loved our tour!!! Mr. Boyce was very entertaining and informative.
He keep my daughter and myself laughing the whole tour.
I would highly recommend this tour !!!!
Our tour guide, Sam, I hope I remembered his name correctly, was wonderful. He is a Memphis native and obviously, loves his hometown. He explained so much about Memphis as we drove around the town. He gave us insight before we'd make stops to ensure we would be able to take full advantage of the site. He was kind, knowledgeable, funny, and made sure everyone had a wonderful experience.
Excellent tour!!! Our first time in Memphis and glad we did this. Our guide michelle was amazing took us to historic sites. We learned a lot and had fun!!!! Highky recommend!!!
Our tour guide Sam was great! The tour showed us a lot... things we didn’t even know about. Good amount of time for things as well. Wouldn’t recommend Dyers burgers. Rude staff
This a fun tour to help get acclimated to and understand what Memphis is all about. The time flew by and when finished we had a great understanding of the city and a game plan for what we wanted to explore more on our own
This is a great tour as an introduction to the city and all it has to offer. I would recommend taking this tour first if you have not been to Memphis before.
Purchased the tour with Graceland. Michelle was great, saw everything and did not feel rushed. Did not think we would spend 4+ hours at Graceland but we did. We knew there was another bus to pick us up.
I followed other reviews and this was a great way to see Memphis when you are on a short time frame or as an introduction to know what you might want to visit. Our tour guide was very good and had a great sense of humor. When booking on line - It says downtown pickup. We were not staying downtown, so I chose one they had listed and very happily found out when I called to confirm that they would pick us up where we were. That was very helpful. They make a point to let you out to explore significant locations. A nice introduction to Memphis.
Highly recommend this tour of Memphis, which really gave us a feel for the City. Our guide gave us plenty of time at St. Jude's, got us to the famous Duck Parade at the Peabody early and told us where to stand to get the best view, advised us on where to eat on Beale St.when we arrived downtown, We don't care for Elvis, but talked to others on the tour who went to Graceland and they loved it. A good overall tour of a very interesting city.
Willie was a great tour guide! And the southern hospitality was at its finest!
We really enjoyed this tour of Memphis! Sam was a great guide and added humor to his tour as well as information of the city! Thank you for a great day in Memphis!
What a fantastic way to see all the highlights in Memphis. Also Graceland is a must even if youre not an Elvis fan. We had a great tour guide who was informative, friendly and accommodating. An amazing day from start to finish
We enjoyed this tour more than we thought we would-- it was interesting to learn about Elvis Presley's background and musical genre. He was a very loyal person devoted to family and friends, and he loved his Graceland home.
What a fabulous way to be introduced this the city of Memphis! The price is great for a morning filled with sites, history, interesting facts, and the chance to explore so many areas. We were picked up at our downtown hotel, by our awesome driver and guide, Sam. I had read other reviews about Sam's talents , and we were thrilled to have him share the city he LOVES with us. If you visit Memphis, start your visit with this tour-- hope you are lucky enough to get Sam as your guide.
