It was ver informative tour. Couldn't get a better person to guide it, than Patrick. Thank you and see you in the future!!
Our tour guide, Matt, was amazing. He filled the tour with bits of history and not so known information. I highly recommend the pedestal tour if you can do it.
We had a great tour with Lindsay!! She was extremely knowledgeable and had lots of great stories!! Definitely recommend this tour!!
Was amazing from start to finish . Matt our guide was simply brilliant, funny, knowledge was second to none, easy going, informative and simply made the trip . He never once referred to any notes and his recall of information was extraordinary.. Everyone was mesmerised by him and his personality throughout. He took time to find out about everyone on the tour . If your booking this or any trip try and get on the one that Matt hosts. Great value for money. He's a credit to himself, your company, New York and the United States of America. Merry Christmas to all our friends and brothers across the pond We hope to see you again soon . my wife and i have just done this tour and everything about it was fantastic we was very lucky to get matt as our guide and with his theatre background it was both informative and pleasurable to listen to we would never have learnt so much on our own and matt explained every detail and even got everybody involved when he was explaining about the immagrants great fun right down to the pictures he took of us this guide is gold standard you must do this tour whilst you are there and if you are lucky enough to get matt you will enjoy and come away very happy thanks steve and sue
Lindsey is amazing - so knowledgeable about all things historical- a fantastic guide to Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. She’s a wealth of information and a delight to spend time with.
This was a fantastic experience mostly because of Lindsey, our guide. She was fun, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, competent, knowledgeable, fun, (oh I already said that, didn't I).
There are iconic attractions around the world and then there are those you MUST see close up and personal. This was a well organised tour with a very enthusiastic guide who looked after us whilst at the statue and Ellis Island. The view of the Manhattan skyline from the pedestal is fantastic as is the view of the statue from close up. Ellis Island is well worth investing time to better understand how the immigrants were welcomed into the USA - fascinating history lesson. This has to be one of the tours you do when visiting New York.
This was a good exeperience. Debbie did a great job , there was some long lines due to security but this obviously is nobody’s fault . Very good experience and great job.
Being a New Yorker I actually never had the chance to visit the liberty and Ellis islands. This was a wonderful experience! The tour guid Kevin was very knowledgeable, nice and professional. I learned a lot about the history of immigration and the Statue of Liberty and overal enjoyed the tour.
This tour was wonderful. The directions were clear and I was able to take the subway there myself. This was my first trip to NYC and Lady Liberty and Ellis Island were one of the main places I wanted to visit. The trip was well organised and well worth the fee. Our guide was Matt, who was great. He had knowledge and humor and enthusiasm, Which made the tour even more memorable.
My wife and I recently visited NY again for our anniversary. We've been to New York a number of times but never visited Ellis Island or the Statute of Liberty. I booked the guided tour because we wanted to learn about both special places and not just walk the sites. Matt was our guide. We had a small group so we were able to linger at different places and have Matt inform us of many unique facts and nuggets of insight. He was superb. With a theatrical background, Matt's tour was a performance as much as a delivery of information. He was especially informative in describing how the immigrants were processed on Ellis Island. Without him, I doubt we would have discerned a fraction of what we learned. We highly recommend this tour. It was well organized and I hope you're lucky enough to have Matt as your guide to these national treasures.
Great tour if it’s your first visit to NYC! This tour offers great historic information on both locations. It was very organized.
Tour guide was most knowledgeable. Had plenty of time to see both islands. So much better than going on your own. Guide used personal listening devices that really helped.
My husband and I (New Yorkers) took our 14 year old grandson, visiting from Atlanta, on this entertaining and informative tour to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Mike, our guide, was perfect — responsible, knowledgeable, warm and funny. He even lay down on his back to get a great photo of the three of us with Lady Liberty. I highly recommend Mike and this tour!
Our tour was pretty good, even if he lost one of our members along the way. Unfortunately, she lost out on seeing a few details. Boat ride was good, as our guide told us where to sit to see the most and when to get off. Loved both places, wished I had longer on Ellis Island to research or option to
traveling alone and wanting to see in depth some of the sights I was so pleased with this tour from beginning to end. received lots of interesting facts, saw more than if you went without this special tour which allowed access to special areas . . . so worth it. Great guide
Guide provided good history of how the Ellies Island and Statue of Liberty came about.
Amazing tour with an amazing guide, we were lucky enough to be the only people on the tour. The guide was very good and had lots of tips for beating the queues as well as good knowledge of the tour. Would definitely recommend
Absolutely excellent tour. Kevin was phenomenal with all of the history and knowledge of Lady Liberty and Ellis Island. I learned so much about that point in time. My 11 year old granddaughter was also part of our tour and he incorporated her right into the trip and shared his knowledge at a level that both older adults as well as children could understand. Highly highly recommend this tour and tour guide! Loved it!
