In only 34 minutes, viewers will discover a Grand Canyon that would take a lifetime to experience. When you arrive at the park, you will dine at either the cafeteria-style Maswick Lodge or be pampered at the Historic El Tovar restaurant before continuing with the remainder of the tour.

Your first stop is the train depot in Williams, Arizona. Here, you will board the historic, century-old Grand Canyon Railway. The train offers wonderful views of the San Francisco Peaks and rolls through the valleys filled in wild flowers, dense pine forests, high desert plains and small canyons. Grand Canyon Railway is still one of the best ways left to experience the old west. The train arrives just steps from the Grand Canyon's South Rim. Kristin was an excellent tour guide, informative, knew just the right spots for photos and less crowded areas to see. She made the long day enjoyable and kept us on schedule and informed of itinerary. Only negative comment for the trip was bumpy ride home due to Arizona potholes and cracks in the highway.
What a fun trip... From the very start with Lance picking us up at the hotel to when he dropped us off back at our hotel, we had a great time and some very informative facts from all of our trip guides. The train trip was a very good way to go to the canyon. Relaxing and entertaining. Thanks to all...
Our guide was knowledgeable although he was late picking us up. Overall a fun day despite some spotty weather
Excellent tour. David our guide was great. We had considered driving there, however, now realized what a mistake that would have been. Limited parking and David knew just where to take us to get the best views.
Our guide was excellent. He was very experienced and knows the area well. He was motivated to give the group a good experience.
The train ride was superb. We enjoyed the entertainment and scenic ride. We felt we were taken back in time with the scenery and imagined wagon trails and horse drawn carriages along the way.
Kristin our tour guide was a wealth of knowledge. She provided plenty of time at each stop to take in the views and take pictures. We saw several elk and deer.
We tag this trip as 'modern day wild west'.
This was a long but fabulous day. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed the train ride. The canyon is unbelievable. However, with this trip there isn't much time to explore the canyon on your own.
Our guide was a delight... very knowledgeable, interesting and entertaining!
Most amazing day of touring the Grand Canyon. We had a great tour guide that was very upbeat as well as giving us in depth information about the Grand Canyon and the entire area around it. We had plenty of time for pictures and our lunch was more than generous.
We had an amazing tour of the Grand Canyon with David last Monday. If we could hand pick a tour guide it would be David. He was so friendly, knowledgeable and a great sense of humor. Without this tour we would not have seen all the best sights in the Grand Canyon.
Loved the small group and hotel pick up. Frequent rest stops was a nice added touch.
I recommend the IMAX movie and El Tovar lunch, both were amazing. Well worth the money.
Mark our guide was great, very knowledgeable! Great way to see many parts of the canyon in a day. Would definitely recommend this tour to others!
This tour was the best experience ever! Tour driver was very knowledgeable, informative and fun. The helicopter ride we added to our trip is an absolutely must do!!! Breathtaking, memorable and the experience of a lifetime!
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour from Sedona to the Grand Canyon. Our guide was very informative. We really enjoyed the “no stress” scenic drive to the Grand Canyon. It was well worth the $’s.
Daniel was our tour guide and he was very interesting and knowledgable. We had only one day to see the canyon and this is the tour we chose. The helicopter ride was our 1st glimpse of the canyon and it really took all of our breaths away. This is beautiful country and just speaks for itself. But thanks to Daniel, we got all kinds of interesting perspectives on all kinds of different levels, from the wildlife, to geology and history of the area. There were just enough stops to get different perspectives of the canyon. We got beautiful photos. He really made our one day there more than complete. Highly recommend.
The tour was great! Engaging, fun and informative!
Our guide, Mark was knowledgeable, kind and fun! We would highly recommend this tour.
This tour absolutely exceeded our expectations. I had been to the Grand Canyon via another tour company but my this was my husbands first time. While viewing the Canyon never gets old as it is ever changing, I feel like I had never seen the Canyon before thanks to our incredible tour guide at Great Western Tours, Daniel. His knowledge and passion for the Canyon really enhanced the trip. We saw so many different views of the Canyon. I can't say enough. We included the IMAX and lunch at El Tovar which we also recommend. If you are looking to tour the Grand Canyon stop searching and book this tour and hopefully it will be with Daniel.
This tour was awesome! Great tour guide.
We did the train ride add on and wish we did not. If we did again, I would skip train and do film and lunch.
We had such a fun and exciting day on this tour! Our Guide Dave was so full of knowledge, enthusiasm and love of the area. He was fun and kept us engaged along the way. Once at the Canyon we saw such fantastic sights. We ate at El Tovar and it too was a beautiful place with great food. Thank you for an amazing and unforgettable day!
We had a great tour day with Cindy from Sedona AZ. She drove us through the South Rim area of the Grand Canyon. She has a great deal of area knowledge and shared interesting facts and stories of the area. She made us very comfortable. We were entertained and happy. Thank you.
