My husband and I went to this luau in January 2018. It was right at our hotel so it was wonderful in that we didnt even have to drive anywhere after the luau. The dinner was great and the show was fantastic that they put on. The one thing I would recommend is to have an additional bartender or two. The line was very long to get a drink since they were only two bartenders. But all in all, I would highly recommend this luau to anyone who wants to have a fun evening and a great dinner. We had a large group of 10 with someone who needed handicapped accessiblity. The staff, especially, Uncle Benny, were very helpful and nice. We were able to be seated with no problem. The activities and learning to hula were very fun. The best part were the dancers. They didn't just dance, they interacted with the crowd and made it extremely entertaining. Thanks for making our vacation even more memorable
The costumes and performances were great! Of course, the fire dancer is always a huge highlight and he didn't let us down. The event ran like a well oiled machine and the staff always had a friendly smile. My 3 traveling companions had never been to Hawaii and a luau is a must and they were so impressed. I highly recommend this luau to all.
Our first trip to Hawaii as family and it was beautiful experience and i loved to ambiance by the beach with live music performance.
We had a wonderful evening....food was great and plentiful....show was fun and informative....bst of all the crowd were all very friendly and covered full age range....If you are going to Hawaii....you have to do at least one Luau....and if you are doing at least one Luau....take a hard look at Island Breeze
Fantastic Luau. Great food, entertainment and drinks. Plenty to do before the main event with fake tatoos, hula lessons and more.
We didn't stay at this hotel, but attended the luau on Tuesday evening and was pleasantly surprised! I went to high school with an oddly large amount of Pacific Islanders in California, so the dancing and show isn't foreign to me. We had countless people say oh I guess you have to go to one luau while your there, but don't waste your time going more than that. We truly enjoyed this show hosted at the Marriott, they had a fun cocktail hour where the performers interacted with you, the maitais were delicious yet not too strong, the food was delicious, and the performance was truly something to remember. Everything was done so professionally, I would totally recommend this luau to anyone who stays in Kona!
This Luau is the best one I have ever been to. I would recommend it to everyone. The people that put this on are very nice and helpful and make it very enjoyable.
Enjoyed the Luau very much. The dancing was outstanding. Just being outside and near a body of water where it was warm was great, We come from a cold climate so it was wonderful.
The entertainment was excellent. My family was mesmerized by the performances. Bring your appetite for delicious Polynesian food.
What a great experience. The food was delicious and the show was amazing. It was worth every penny. If you are thinking of going to a luau while staying on the big island, I couldn't give a higher recommendation for this luau. it is fantastic.
It was our first time attending a Luau and the experience was good. Food and the entertainment provided coupled with the seaside setting of the Luau made it a very enjoyable evening for both me and my wife.
Lovely evening with lots of food, drink and entertainment, Fresh flowers for round your neck cost extra.
A lot of fun. Good for families. The food and entertainment were excellent
