Thought the Captain did a Excellent narration during the cruise. Very educational and great views.Pictures a plus.
Great job, Crew! Very interesting and enjoyable trip!
I'd recommend it to any family. Better for older kids (not so much for the preschooler)
We went out on the boat on a day that was pretty cool and windy. Captain Erin was wonderful. She was very informative and gave lots of great history of the area. Loved it .
Captain Tripp and crew were very courteous and knowledgeable. We enjoyed this trip very much as we were only visiting Charleston for the day.
Good historical information about Charleston. Our captain/tour guide had a great sense of humor and definitely knew his Charleston history. The sites from the water were amazing. The appropriate amount of time was given. I definitely want to check out the evening version of this cruise, I bet it's even more amazing.
Very educational. The Captain was informative and commicall at the same time. Well worth the time andcexploratand.
Fun trip! Informative tour guide. Beautiful scenery. I highly recommend for a quick and fun way to briefly see and learn about Fort Sumter, Sullivan's Island Light House, Mt. Pleasant, and military ships in the area without having to spend the time driving to each one and taking a tour. Seeing each of these things from the tour boat and learning about them from the tour guide was perfect for the traveler who is trying to see as much as possible in a limited amount of time.
The monologue by Andy is superb. He covers the history and geography of Charleston
from the Carolina Belle with accuracy and humor.
The highlight of the trip for me was when he helped me into the area where the helm is, and invited me
an 85 year old lady to sit in the captain's chair, and drive the ship for about 5 minutes.
He gave me the thrill of a lifetime. I shall never forget this harbor tour. Thanks, Andy.
Great tour, very educational. Really enjoyed Captain Andy's historical insight and humor, very entertaining. The ship's staff were great and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend the tour.
Captain Erin was knowledgeable and funny. Great snacks and drinks on board. Wonderful scenery and history.
This was a very good overview of Charleston's history on the water. Captain Erin was very informative and humorous.
First of all, the weather was very pleasant, partly cloudy with temperature around 75. The captain and narrator was well informed and had a good sense of humor. While the whole tour of harbor was worthwhile, we especially enjoyed the view and history of Ft. Sumter.
Fun and informative tour of the harbor! With each tour you get a little bit different flavor of the history and our captain, Bobby, was full of tidbits, trivia and history for us to think about. A great time!
THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS FABULOUS!
IT WAS OUR FIRST TRIP TO CHARLESTON AND THE HARBOR TOUR MADE THE TRIP WORTHWHILE.
FIRST, THE WEATHER WAS PERFECT. THERE WAS SEATING FOR ALL TO BE ABLE TO SEE AND TAKE PICTURES. THE CAPTAIN'S NARRATION WAS SPOT ON WITH INTERESTING SIDELIGHTS WE WOULD NEVER HAVE KNOWN OTHERWISE. AND, A PLUS, THE YORKTOWN AIRCRAFT CARRIER WAS IN PORT. ALSO, FREE PARKING AN ADDITIONAL PLUS.
This was a very informative excursion. The captain was very knowledgeable and pointed out many points of interest to us. Worthwhile trip. Loved it
This was so much fun as the captain added humor into the historic facts. Beautiful and captivating.
This was a wonderful tour. Our guide was informative and entertaining. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Charleston.
Unfortunately, we had very little time in Charleston so we took the Carriage Historic Tour in the morning, and the Harbor of History Tour in the afternoon. Both were outstanding and we highly recommend them- particularly to people who have very limited time to visit the area.
The Charleston Harbor of History Tour was a wonderful and relaxing time touring the harbor. The views of the forts and
different historical locations were awesome. The boat was nice with refreshments and perfect viewing areas.
A great way to spend a day out on the water.
