We tried to do the walking tour (my preferred tour) but b/c of the NFL draft they cancelled all those types so we were left with only this. What is nice about this type (driving) is that you get to see places you would normally not get with a walking tour. Our driver Dennis was great and knowledgeable and we enjoyed all the food samples we had especially the pie (peach for me) from Sweet Creations and the bourbon glazed doughnuts from the Doughnut shop. Sometimes change of plans work out and this tour did.
We had a great time with TJ. We went back and visited many of the places we sampled during the tour because he curated a great Nashville experience.
My extended family of 11 aged 8 to 75 all had an amazing time on our food and sightseeing tour. A highlight of our visit to Nashville.
This tour is highly recommended, went to places that you would not be able to reach by foot, if staying downtown. All food was great and TJ the tour guide was very informative..
My husband and I had a great time and really enjoyed the food we were offered which was plenty. We left there very full for the rest of the day. He was very informative and interesting. Would highly recommend. We never would have visited these hot spots if it wasn't for the tour.
We loved our food tour and highly recommend it. Our tour guide Abigail was great, very informative and lots of fun. All the stops on our tour served us large portions and the food was delicious at all of them.
We had a delightful experience seeing a good bit of Nashville, enjoying delicious samplings of local foods, and learning a lot of history from Dennis, He also gave us some recommendations for entertainment that turned out to be spot on. We are a family of 6 adults and Dennis made us all feel welcome and was concerned with our safety and enjoyment. Great driver/teacher.
We had a fantastic time on our food tour! TJ was friendly and informative. And most importantly, he brought us to the best food destinations! We highly recommend this tour!
TJ was a great guide, very informative and made it interesting. The food choices were good and generous. Come hungry
OMG!!!! I have already referred others to take this tour! I can't begin to describe how awesome it was, from start to finish we enjoyed every minute. The tour guide was awesome, the food was awesome, I would have done it again if I had the time. DO NOT book any food tour beside this one, we did and wished we hadn't, THIS IS THE BEST TOUR IN NASHVILLE!!!
This was our third tour with viator and we have not been disappointed yet. We had a wonderful time in Nashville. Our tour driver was great, stops were fun and portions were generous. I highly recommend using VIATOR when travelling to a new city!
We booked this tour because we love to try the local food when we travel. We were treated to Nashville's famous hot chicken and a bushwhacker drink as well as an amazing hot dog sampler at I Dream of Weenie and great bar b que at Martin's. We finished off our trip with a visit to Las Paletas. I highly recommend the peanut butter or creamy lime! JT was our tour guide and he did a great job showing us the sights and giving us some history on Nashville. Would highly recommend this tour!!
I would highly recommend this tour. Abigail our tour guide was absolutely amazing. She brought us around to different parts of Nashville and we visited several places to eat. First, we went to Pepperfire Hot Chicken, in East Nashville. The chicken was hot and juicy and the place was spotless. Second we went to 3 Crow bar for a Bushwhacker drink. All I have to say is WOW. It was delicious !!! After that we went to get hot dogs from I Dream of Weenie, probably the best hot dogs I've ever eaten. Then we headed to Martin's BBQ Joint and everything we tasted was superb. Nothing here was less than perfect and the portions were tremendous. Last, we went over too Las Paletas for dessert. They serve frozen treats like ice pops, many different varieties like Avocado, Chocolate Chip, Banana Cream, Watermelon etc. and it was delicious. A perfect ending to a fun filled day of tasting food around the city, learning about the town and seeing areas of Nashville that the average tourist would not see. This is a definite tour you must do !!!!
A great way to explore Nashville through all of it's fabulous culinary tastes. We covered a lot of ground and ate fabulous foods along the way!
Loved this tour of Nashville. First time I've been to the city and it's a great way to get oriented and hear the local history. The stops we had included a small local pie shop, bbq at 2 places, hot chicken, a local bar for bushwackers or ice cream you don't drink alcohol, and it was all great. Ended up going back to several places we went or that were pointed out later during my stay. I also did a walking tour of downtown and these places were totally different so fun to do both.
