This tour was really awesome. I was picked up at Bayside right at 10:15 and we were on our way to the everglades. It was about an hour drive with the other stops we had to make. Once we were there, we had a few minutes before the airboat tour departed. The airboat was so much fun! You have to wear ear plugs and I recommend sitting on the sides if you can, it will be harder to see if you sit in the middle. Right as we left the main area we saw two alligators up on land and a turtle sitting on a branch. Once in the open water we saw a huge alligator swimming, on the banks there was a mama alligator on her nest, and heading back to the main area there was a smaller alligator swimming. The airboat driver was really funny and he gave a lot of good information on the types of birds, fish, and insects we saw. After the airboat we went on to the alligator show where there were 3 more alligators and a snake. After the show, you could hold a baby alligator and get your picture with him for 3. You take the boardwalk back to the main area and along that there are more alligators enclosed. The bus left back to Miami at 1:30 and the way back was less than an hour. Don't forget to bring sunscreen and bug spray!
Great trip, must see whilst in miami! Our air boat tour guide was Great, very enthusiastic and informative. We ended up being on the boat for around 45 mins which was great! Bring some money for a tip. Warning - if getting the bus from north miami/sunny isles it will be a LONG day!
The initial details we were given said 30 minutes on the water but as it turned out we were pleasantly surprised to be out for over an hour. We were lucky to see 3 alligators on the trip as well as some other Florida wildlife. The guide was very informative and I would definitely recommend it to any fellow traveller
Amazing exhilarating well worth it, tour guides are fantastic and the Alligators are brilliant
Really enjoyed the tour--wish we could have spent more time on the air boat. Informative and a lot of fun!
This was a really good trip - myself and My dad opted for the morning trip. It wasn't a particularly long drive out to the park, and once their the facilities were awesome, clean and tidy, welcoming. Everything that was a part of the trip was made clear, everything went smoothly, plenty of opportunity for pictures and knowledgeable folk throughout the day. I highly recommend.
This everglades trip is recomanded transport van is right on time the everglades safari park is b uatefull nature park with walking trails
Very easy pickup/drop off from Miami and the Everglades. They make it very easy to check out the everglades for a tour
Fantastic, well organised trip. All the staff very friendly and knowledgable. Only one slight downside - the mosquitos!! You need to absolutely cover yourself in repellent or get bitten alive. Recommend light clothing covering arms and legs - you've been warned. .
Really great trip - I went as a solo traveller always a bit daunting - but it's a perfect mix of guided elements the airboat tour and show, and self-guided parts wandering around the section with the alligators and plants after. The guides were all very knowledgeable and respectful of the animals - with a good dash of humour. Plus, they made sure to track down some alligators for us while on the airboat!
The tour is worth of to do, the shuttle bus picked up directly on hotel site in time, as promised.
This was a fantastic tour! We saw so many alligators and even a couple of babies! Very informative.
