We had an awesome day with Molly and saw a lot of big and small wildlife, also black and grizzly bears, some wolfes and many more. Thank you for this great experience!
We were so thrilled with this tour. Our guide was AWESOME! And we were able to see far more than we had expected.
Excellent guide very knowledgeable about the park and got us to places that we would never know to see on our own.
We highly recommend the guide and the tour
We met Wolves, Coyotes also many Bisons.
As wel as visited interesting sites where are due to private tour.
Our guide - Frank has much knowledge of wildlife also American history.
Our family very enjoyed.
We took a private tour with Frank as our tour guide on Thursday, August 24. Our goal was to see as many different animals as possible. Well, we saw a grizzly bear, a pack of wolves, pronghorns, mountain goat, and more bison than we could count, and so close we thought they may get in the car! Success. Frank was a wealth of information about the park history and the many trails and attractions in the park. It was a great day.
This tour with Frank was the highlight of our trip! He was so informative and helped us to see Yellowstone and the wildlife in a new light. He is highly personable and the best guide. He included our young grandchildren and they rave about the tour too as their favorite. We never felt hurried or rushed and felt like we saw everything we hoped for.
Our guide Frank was really great. He was laid-back with a good sense of humor which we really enjoyed. He tailored the day to the areas of the park we had not already experienced. We saw hundreds of bison, one black bear, some elk and sheep. We didn't see any grizzlies or wolves but those are hard to see in the summer unless you start at 5:30 am which my kids didn't want to do. Frank taught us many things about the history and geology of Yellowstone. Would highly recommend.
Best Game Drive ever!! Molly was punctual, knowledgeable, and well organized we discussed goals which for me was seeing everything we could, large or small. We left from Canyon Lodge, then north to the Lamar Valley which is where the fun began. Wolves! Bison! Moose!! Bears!! Pronghorns! Mountain goats! Osprey! Bald eagle! Deer! Elk! Though I had my own binoculars, Molly was better at finding animals with the 'scope which was very helpful. All in all, I am so glad I finished my trip with this tour and would recommend it highly for someone interested in wildlife, but not interested in a large group tour.
Great tour: we were lucky to see 4 bears 1 grizzly, 3 black bears, 3 wolves, plenty of goats, sheep, birds nests, etc.
Our goal/hope was to see wolves and bears. Guide Frank picked us up at our hotel in Gardiner at 5:30 AM. By 7:30 AM we had seen a wolf with two puppies at their den in the Slough Creek area, as well as a couple of bald eagles, and an osprey catching a trout from the river right in front of us. Next, while searching for bears we saw mountain goats high up in the cliff walls further down the Soda Butte Valley and then by 9:30 AM a very big grizzly high up in the fields across the Lamar valley. This was followed by nesting swallows, a bald eagle nest, a red tail hawk nest with young birds being fed by one of the parents, an osprey nest with both parents. Then a fox roaming around at the lunch area and a nest of young great horned owls. Next we spotted bighorn sheep along the cliffs across from the Palatine/Narrows Yellowstone river viewing area, and then leaving from there we saw a juvenile black bear from the parking lot. Two more bears on the way back to the hotel: a cinnamon black bear within 20 yard of the road and another black bear crossing the road. Of course we also saw tons of bison, elk, pronghorn sheep, and deer while driving back and forth to different spots. Frank is a very knowledgeable, patient guide who knows all the right spots. Fantastic 8 hour tour!!
Our guide Frank was prompt in meeting us. He was very knowledgeable about locations from which to see wild animals and the history of Yellowstone. Lunch was fine. He had endless patience with our two grandsons. His viewing scope made it possible for them to actually see the animals. Worth every penny.
I'd always thought that the perfect guide on a Yellowstone tour would be a park ranger, and that's exactly what we got with this tour. Our guide, Frank, was a former Yellowstone park ranger, and he had heard every question you could possibly ask about everything in the park. He was a personable, friendly guy and my wife and I had a great time. We saw a bear, antelope, elk, osprey, bald eagle, bison, prairie dogs, and coyotes. The only wildlife in Yellowstone we didn't spot were wolves, and some volunteer spotters told us we had just missed them. Overall, a memorable day, and I recommend this tour highly!
The tour was great as we saw lots of amazing wildlife! Our guide, Frank, was friendly and informative - he really made the expedition fun. Highly recommended!
We had a GREAT day with Emil, who knew exactly were to be, to see a lot of wildlife. We saw wolfs, bears, bisons, eagles and a beautiful sunrise. Emil made it an unforgettable day in fantastic Yellowstone.
OMG this is the way to see north Yellowstone and its wildlife. This group knows the Park and where to find the animals. We spotted 3 wolves bedded down about a half mile from the road and watched as they called in 3 more members of the pack from across the road behind us. The excitement of the reunion was unbelieveable and only exceeded by the fear displayed by the nearby Bison and Elk herds. We watched and tracked the pack as it headed toward Lamar Valley alerting the resident wolf trackers by radio. Add to this, Bighorn Sheep, Mountain Goats, Pronghorn, Black Bear, and Coyote - what a day. The highlight of our 10 day adventure. Thanks.
Really nice and informative tour, thanks to Chris. Would recommend this, absolutely worth the money!
Jack and Barbara here..... We really enjoyed our day with Chris! He was informative, friendly, fun-loving and very effective as guide and host. We found animals and astounding views. We were surprised by an unseasonal snowstorm but our guide was undaunted and provided a thorough tour and tons of info. He understands the history, the geology, the wildlife and the unique culture of Yellowstone. Good guy. Go with him on a tour sometime if you get a chance.
The tour was great and our guide Emil was awesome. Thanks to him we were able to see bears, wolves and other animals. He was also very informative about animals history and their behaviors. It is denitely we wouldn't be able to spot animals without the help of our guide.
There aren't enough stars to describe the splendor of this experience. Not only did we see wolves up close through the 'scopes, but we learned the story of that particular pack and its members. We admired trumpeter swans feeding in the river, oohed at longhorn sheep grazing by the roadside, admired pronghorn at a crossing and watched the courtship and interplay of adult bison as well as inter generational family relationships. Our group of four ranged in age from 13 to 76 -- and all learned and enjoyed learning from our professional guide, an environmental biologist, who was both informative and personable. Photo opportunities abound and are aided by the guide's use of a camera on his scope and plenty of pauses to set up your best shot -- although the animals pose at their own pace! Hot drinks and breakfast breads provided welcome warmth on a chilly morning -- do bring layers -- and a leisurely lunch kept even hungry teenagers' energy levels high. The northern area of Yellowstone abounds in glorious scenery to enjoy in addition to the wildlife, and our guide made several stops for us to enjoy the canyons and cliffs as well as to explain geological causes of formations. I would recommend this tour to anyone with curiosity, imagination, and a profound appreciation of the glories that nature offers. It will cap all your Yellowstone adventures.
This tour was a great investment! We learned so much about the natural world of Yellowstone, and we saw some amazing animals that we could have never seen on our own. Emil was an amazing guide, extremely knowledgable and very kind! It was an exceptional day.
This was the best guided tour we've ever had. Molly gave us a fabulous tour of the park. We saw so many types of animals and learned so much about the intriguing geology, wildlife and ecosystem of the park. We also had fun. Molly is extremely knowledgeable. The van, scopes, and supplies were top notch. Seven hours well spent. Thanks to Molly and the company. We highly recommend both.
