We will pick you up your place of lodging in Jackson or Teton Village, Wyoming.
Daily, seven days a week.
Our day begins as we head north from Jackson, WY towards Yellowstone National Park, passing through Grand Teton on the way. A couple of photo ops as we pass through Grand Teton, but mostly heading directly towards Yellowstone’s south entrance, of course stopping for a photo with the Yellowstone sign.
Generally our first major stop will be at Upper Geyser Basin, or the Old Faithful area. The old faithful geyser will erupt every ninety minutes and we will make a point of witnessing the eruption. Given the timing of our arrival we may have time for a short boardwalk stroll to view some of the other thermal features in the basin. In addition to Old Faithful there are numerous other fantastic geysers that will erupt with less certainty and frequency, which we may also have the good fortune to witness, including: Beehive, Castle, The Lion Group, Sawmill, Grand, Daisy, and more.
In addition to the numerous thermal features the history buffs will also enjoy a visit to the Old Faithful Inn, (in season) arguably one of the most magnificent National Park Lodges in existence. We will venture north and most tours we will have the time to spot at least two more times for short and exciting boardwalks excursions. Everyone enjoys stopping at both the Midway Geyser Basin, and Fountain Paint pots-both truly fantastic thermal collections unto themselves. I will not ruin the surprise but such features as the Grand Prismatic Spring, Clepsydra Geyser, Excelsior Geyser crater, and the Fountain Paint Pots are just a few of the features we will visit while walking on the boardwalks.
Early afternoon we are arriving at lunch stop, usually Fountain Flats, or beyond.. A great, fresh picnic spread provided by us including Boars Head turkey, ham, lettuce, onion, tomato, avocado (freshly prepped on site) chips and salsa, fruit, cookies for dessert, condiments, etc.
After lunch we will spend some time in the vehicle as we make our way north around the loop with our next real major stop being the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River. Some points of interest along the way will include: Firehole Canyon drive, Madison River, Gibbon River Falls, Elk Park, Virginia Cascades, etc. We will spend some time at the Canyon Area with the main draw being the Upper and Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River, 109ft, and 308 feet tall respectively. Also the beauty of the Canyon itself is not to be missed.
We try to be heading south by about 3:30pm with still some ground to cover. Heading south from the Canyon Area we will pass through Hayden Valley, Mud Volcano, Yellowstone Lake, and West Thumb. This will complete our lower loop as we head back towards Jackson from there, usually arriving back in Jackson between 6:30 and 7:30 pm.

Our tour guide was excellent. He was very knowledgeable on the area. He took us to points that aren’t familiar to most visitors. The trip was wonderful. It was definitely the way to see Yellowstone.
It was a very long day and the lunch was sad to say the least. Matt our guide was good and very informative. He was very knowledgeable about the area and friendly. He was considerate to all of us in the van and showed us all the great spots in Yellowstone.
This was a great tour to see a lot in a short amount of time. Our tour guide Eddie was fabulous. He knew the area well and timed the trip so that we got to see as much as possible. It was nice to be able to sit back and enjoy the sites rather than struggle with driving around myself.
A must! If you are for the first time in the park, use this tour. Excellent conditions, perfect timing, everything was just perfect. Our guide Edi was amazing!
Matt was a great driver and guide. This turned out to be a virtually private tour with only my wife and myself in the van. Matt was capable and knowledgeable and always willing to answer questions. He customized the tour to fit our preferences. The only thing that would have been better would have been to have seen a bear!!
Eddie our tour guide was excellent. Extremely knowledgeable and able to answer any and all questions. Really enjoyed the day! Would love to go back and do the upper loop at Yellowstone.
Our guide was awesome, great trip,he was very knowledge, very polite, would deffintly do sgain.saw lots of animals,we stoped a lot to see features, just the right amount of walking, the van was nice lots of Windows and lunch was very good
Our guide, Eddie, was the best! Got to see many of the great sights of Yellowstone, very easily, quickly and avoided some of the long lines, crowds and parking hassles. It is a long day but worth the time. Highly recommend this company.
This was a wonderful tour. Thank you to Jack for driving our family around. He was very knowledgeable about the park and provided us with great viewpoints to take pictures and see wildlife. We were very lucky to have seen both Old Faithful and Beehive Geyser erupt at the same time. Jack was an amazing tour guide. We wouldn't have been able to see so many places in one day if we were on our own.
We were at the end of a week-long vacation that included almost a thousand miles of driving. My husband was tired of driving and my kids were cranky, but I wanted to see Yellowstone before we left. I compromised and booked this trip so no one would need to drive and we would have a larger vehicle. What an amazing day!
Amy, our tour guide was great. She immediately connected with my two teenage daughters, so they were happy from the beginning. We could have never seen so much in such a short time if we did not take this trip. Amy knew all the great places to see and she was a wealth of information. She was happy to make any accommodations we needed, but we let her guide the way.
The booking was extremely easy. They were on time and the vehicle was clean and comfortable. The lunch and snacks were also perfect. I do not believe I could have picked out a better selection there was something for everyone. I would definitely take this tour again well worth the money!
Amy was most knowledgeable about the park and everything in and around it. We saw all we wanted and much more. Old Faithful, Painted pots, mud pits, geysers, fissures, hidden lakes, beautiful waterfalls and many animals. So much more than we would have seen on our own.
This was an amazing tour. Eddie was our guide. He was phenomenal!! His knowledge of the park was amazing. We learned and saw so much more than if we would have tried this on our own. Eddie was so accommodating to our needs as my husband and I both have health issues when it comes to a lot of walking. He would get us as close as he could and then park the vehicle. Kudos to Eddie for being the greatest guide we have ever had on any trip.
It was a wonderful day - we learned and saw so much. Tour guide Amy was the best!!
This tour was spectacular! Our tour guide Amy was very knowledgeable and educated about the parks. Yellowstone and the Grand Teton National Parks were so beautiful! We saw bison and elk as well as many wildflowers. The landscape of both parks as well as the hot springs were so beautiful. Old Faithful did not disappoint and neither did the many geysers and mud pots. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone traveling the area!
Our guide was Amy, and she made the day absolutely enjoyable. From the moment she picked us up at the start, to the minute she dropped us off afterward, she was very considerate of everyone's needs and comfort throughout the day. Lunch was provided, and it was very well done, with plenty of food for everyone. Food came from a local deli and the sandwiches were very fresh and delicious. Amy's knowledge of the areas we visited, and the wildlife we saw was impressive. Her warm and welcoming personality made the day such a pleasure. Thank you Amy and by the way, we saw the mama grizzly bear and her 2 cubs as we were leaving Yellowstone the next day! They came within 10 feet of our car. Wonderful video of them! Thank You!
Eddie was a wonderful guide! Very extensive tour of Yellowstone loop!
There aren't enough superlatives to rate our trip!
Amazing, wondrous, educational, awesome, more and more
superlatives. Our driver and tour guide, Eddie, is terrific.
He's courteous and knowledgable. We felt like old friends
by the end of the tour. We are grateful we booked this tour of Yellowstone.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and we got to see everything that was promised. He made sure that we got great pictures of bison, elk and the scenery. He had extra equipment telescopes to help us find a wolf's lair. He stopped whenever we wanted to stop. I have recommended this tour to many people already!
