Learn about the many prominent and notable citizens of Oregon. You will have a variety of options to choose from for lunch.
Visit the beautiful Columbia River Gorge! Your adventure will take place along the Historic Columbia River National Scenic Byway, where some of the locations we may stop include: Portland Women’s Forum, Crown Point Vista House, Latourell Falls, and Multnomah Falls.
You tour will start with the view from Portland Women's Forum. This location is absolutely breathtaking and it's one of the best spots to soak in a view of one of the most beautiful places on earth: the magnificent, awesome Columbia River Gorge.
Next, we will stop at Crown Visit Point House with a complete overlook of the Gorge region. Crown Point Vista House, best known of the scenic lookouts along the Historic Columbia River Highway, provides a panoramic view of the Columbia River.
Our next stop is Latourell Falls. This waterfall plunges 249' over a massive wall of columnar basalt, some of the best formations in the Pacific Northwest, before cascading hastily toward the Columbia River. This waterfall is usually most recognized for the large patch of bright yellow lichen adorning the cliff face to the right of the falls, and this characteristic has led many famous photographers to this captivating location.
We may also stop at Bridal Veil Falls. This beautiful waterfall is an elegant and graceful lady that can be fully appreciated from the deck of a viewing platform rebuilt in 1996.
Next we will drive to Multnomah Falls. According to Native American lore, Multnomah Falls was created to win the heart of a young princess who wanted a hidden place to bathe. Multnomah Falls is the most visited natural recreation site in the Pacific Northwest!

Crystal was an excellent tour guide. I would recommend her to anyone taking the tour. She is very knowledgeable of the history of Portland. The tour was worth the money. We took wonderful pictures at the different waterfalls.
Request to have Dylan be your tour guide! He is a wealth of knowledge and is funny! He’s super patient and gives you an appreciation of Portland. This whole day tour will take you to all places you hadn’t even thought of visiting or even knew existed in Portland. Thank you Dylan for a memorable trip! I highly recommend you do this the first days you’re in Portland! You won’t regret it!
We were given a historical review of the Portland area, and saw many of the "landmarks". Our guide was very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. She helped us plan our stay in downtown Portland after the tour. The afternoon portion, to the Gorge, was beautiful! This trip is definitely worthwhile.
Our driver Johnny was very good, and answered all our questions and was knowledgeable about the area.
Traveling through Washington, Oregon and Idaho to see these states. I like to take local tours when I am in the cities. This was a good pick. Johnny was very personable and knowledgeable. He spoke and navigated the traffic and weather with professional skill! We saw many beautiful parks and gardens while traveling through varied neighborhoods. The International Rose Test Garden was unbelievable. So many gorgeous blooms in September. The Chinese Garden was another gem with the gardens and art displays. The Pittock Mansion was lovely and had a great view of Portland. We saw several different types of waterfalls on the Columbia Gorge portion of the trip. We also stopped at the Vista House on the gorge road. There is probably no other rest stop like it in the US! We managed to get to all our stops in between the rain and some hail so I got to experience Portland's frequent weather changes! It was a great tour for me to see the city and Gorge in the short time I had available.
Gerri, our Tour Guide was the greatest. Knowledgeable, funny, interesting. Pointed out the important things and all the details. Made for a great day.
Awesome tour. Scott was very knowledgeable, friendly. We saw some great waterfalls.
If you visit Portland, this is a must tour! Eddie was our tour guide and driver. What a great and patient guy. Money well spent. We visited the falls and learned some great Portland history and facts. A very cool place to visit.
My daughter and I had so much fun because our tour guide knew how to entertain and was full of historical knowledge. Gerri took us all over the picturesque Columbia Gorge area and later the wonderful Portland downtown neighborhoods. This was the best way for us to view so many of the great areas of Portland in one day. Gerris enthusiasm was infectious. It was truly a wonderful experience.
It was a fabulous day. Our tour driver knew the city well was very personable. Definitely glad I took this tour
Great full tour and the tour guide was great! We were able to see much in a little time and really had the opportunity to experience Portland.
Sarah was a great guide. We were disappointed that due to the wildfires, the gorge was taken off the tour but we thoroughly enjoyed the city tour. Thanks, Sarah!
Really good tour with a very knowledgable guide. It enabled me to visit parts of Portland that I would have been unable to, as I was using public transport.
This tour was fun and informative. We covered a lot of sights but never felt rushed.
Very very good tour ! Highly recommended. I stayed at a non downtown hotel and pick-up and drop-off provided at no extra charge so thank you for that. John, my tour guide, a Portland native, was extremely informative, great at avoiding traffic thank you really !, made the tour a lot of fun. No rushing from spot to spot, more than enough time at each spot. I was the only one on the afternoon tour so thank you John for making me feel safe and showing me every popular and local spot within Portland and outside and for all the COOL info. The tour covers a plethora of attractions, multiple waterfalls, Rose Gardens, Chinese Gardens, Pittock Mansion, Pearl District, Nob Hill, downtown food carts and so much more. I feel like I saw so much within these 8 hours. 100 very well spent.
