My experience was better than expected. I thought it would be cold and I would get seasick. Neither happened. My mom and sister visited from out of town and they too enjoyed the tour. We took the Puget Sounder train from Lakewood and walked from King Station to pier 55 and boarded. My mom is 79 and had no difficulty making it.
This was a great place to see Seattle with Mt. Rainier, Cascade Mountains and Olympia Mountains in the background. Seeing sea lions, Space Needle, Mariners and Seahawks stadiums, Olympic park, cargo ship industry and other cool things in the city made this one hour cruise very worthwhile. Argosy cruises and staff added to cruise experience.
Fun and learned something! The sound is incredibly beautiful and the guide was knowledgeable and entertaining- really enjoyed this!
Great introduction to the city. Took the recommendation from another reviewer to do this first and they were right. Tour provides history and provides information about the city and things to do.
Wasn't two long, good narrator of what we were passing. Weather was overcast but still enjoyable - need to sit on the right side of the boat to see the shoreline but those of us on the left got a spectacular view of the mountains.
We enjoyed every moment of this tour. Overall this trip was a great price and well worth our time. Thanks Everyone on the tour team for making our time that much better!
The Seattle Harbor Cruise was excellent. The weather was fantastic...sunny and warm. The trip was well organized and the narrator was awesome. The price was very reasonable. My wife and I took the light rail to downtown Seattle from the Tukwila station to avoid having to deal with parking...that was a great decision. All in all a great day. Thank you
My friend and I loved the harbor cruise. The only bad thing about it was the horrible weather, but the crew and tour guide made the trip fun and full of information and corny jokeslove corny jokes to where the bad weather didn't seem like it was such a big deal after all. It was freezing out with the rain and all but the boat was heated and warm top to bottom. I enjoyed the fact they also served drinks like hot apple cider so we could have some while sitting outside of the boat in the cold if we wanted towhich we did. It was nice relaxing and getting away from all the hustle and bustle of the noisy city.
This is a great way to get an overall feel for the Seattle waterfront and city. The narrator on board was outstanding. He was friendly and very knowledgeable about all things Seattle. The boat has a great bar on board with a wide selection of craft beers on tap as well as popcorn etc We very much enjoyed the trip and the narration and recommend it to all.
This was a very entertaining cruise. The commentary was funny and engaging. The bar selection was awesome. Something for everyone. I would definitely recommend this tour while in Seattle. :
Great way to start out a visit in Seattle! Saw beautiful views, learned about the area, sunshine on my face, breeze in my hair, beer in my hand. Crew was very friendly, welcoming and sincere. Kevin, our captain, was sailing out for his last trip because he had to get back to teaching. And Jacob, our guide, was a wealth of information and amusing anecdotes. Beer was a bit pricey but still enjoyed it! One hour was just right.
Good tour - gives you a look at Seattle from the water. Excellent narration during the hour cruising in the bay.
This one hour tour was very nice. The guide who spoke as we traveled was very knowledgeable and gave a lot of history of the area. This is exactly what it says, a harbour cruise only, so the boat hugged the harbour, and did not go out too far into the water. The boat was very comfortable and was able to accomodate the large group, and you could easily sit inside or outside.
Excellent views of Seattle, Space Needle and Mt, Rainier the weather was clear from harbor. Tour guide gave out lots of interesting facts about harbor and Seattle. Saw up close container ship being unloaded and drydocks. Well worth the time.
Very convenient, very informative. A great way to get a feel of all of Seattle in one hour. Our deck hand/ tour guide was very informative and kept everything interesting throughout the cruise!
