This exciting tour commences with complimentary hotel pickup. As you make your way to the Hoover Dam, you will drive through historic Boulder City, home of the Hoover Dam construction workers in the early 1930's. You will also travel past Lake Mead, the second largest man-made lake in the Western Hemisphere, before crossing over the top of the Dam with closeup views of the architecture, penstocks and Arizona Spillway.
A rest stop is taken at the Arizona Lookout with spectacular views of the entire Dam area including the Bypass Bridge. This includes a 15-20 minute rest stop and shopping opportunity. Following this, your tour guide will transport you to the Hoover Dam Visitors Center for entry to the Power Plant Tour.
When the Hoover Dam was completed early in 1935, it was both the world's largest electric power producing facility and the world's largest concrete structure, weighing a total of 6.6 million tons. You will discover a multitude of facts on your tour about this impressive structure.
The Bypass Bridge opened in 2010 stretching nearing 2,000 feet long and 840 feet above the Colorado River, making it the second highest bridge in the United States. Ample time is provided for souvenir shopping and purchase of food items at the Dam restaurant. This is truly an exciting and very educational experience that will provide you with a thorough overview of this fascinating, 80 year old, civil engineering wonder of the world.

Very good tour. Picked up and delivered us back to hotel at set time. "G" our driver was very good and gave us a sight seeing tour on the way. He gave good information about time and place to meet after our visit to the Dam. Water was provided which is very helpful.
Fantastic Experience and worth every Penny, couldn't wish for a better Trip and Angela the Driver was Brilliant
This excursion was great. I was picked up right at my hotel, and the driver Gonzalo courteously called to let me know when the previous pick up got delayed. The vehicle was very comfortable, the ride was smooth, and the visit to the dam was great. Everything was easy, ran on time, and was enjoyable. I would recommend this tour.
I will recommend it if you will like to see a magnificent engineer wonder. Beautiful pictures and excellent food
Our tour of the dam was excellent. Ron our guide was very knowledgeable and did a great job of getting us to the many different sites. we would recommend this tour.
The tour was well worth the time and expense. We had a comfortable shuttle and lively tour guide. Since the shuttle was small, this allowed for easy pick-up and drop off, versus having a large motor coach. Hoover Dam is a beautiful place with a lot of history and value added to the area. We missed seeing the generator due to it being closed and the company gave us compensation, which I thought was extremely nice and considerate. I highly recommend the tour company.
My trip to the Hoover Dam was great! Our guide Ron was friendly and informative. I came away with a great respect for how many people's hard work went into the construction of this marvel!
Our bus driver was really informative, made the trip to and from the dam very enjoyable. Going inside the dam to see the various tunnels and power equipment was great.
An excellent tour with a super knowledgeable driver. He stuck to the schedule and enhanced the experienced.
Ron our tour guide was very experienced and knowledgeable about the tour and answered many common questions and even some hard 'gotcha' type questions about the dam history and Boulder City. Tour events schedule was easy and stress free, Ron always lets you know ahead of time when to be back to the bus and what to expect on the formal dam tour, and gives tips on how to improve the dam visit experience and avoid waiting behind large crowds.
'Mr G' was our driver for the day. What's a lovely man. Stopped at a number of places for photo opportunities including Lake Mead, which was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. Managed to fit everything in, except a trip to the cafe, so maybe another hour would have been nice. Was a great trip and would recommend, just for the views alone.
This was a nice enjoyable trip. Walter was our bus driver and he done an excellent job and was quite funny, entertaining, and informative about the surrounding area as well as the Hoover dam.
Very good driver/guide Bud who took us on a very interesting unscheduled tour of Boulder City.
Our tour guide, Mr. Ron, has to be rated as one of the most interesting men in the world! Amazing. Turned a 4 hour or so tour into a 6 hour tour, showing us interesting sights and telling us interesting things. Excellent tour and wonderful tour guide.
good trip, educational. couldnt go into the dam, escalators not working but refund was given
We had a great driver who had the van nice and cold for pickup which was helpful in the 100 degree weather. Pickup was right on time at our hotel which was another plus. We were able to drive through Boulder City and stop at a local park to see the big horn sheep which was awesome! Our driver was Bud I believe. He was full of knowledge and kept us laughing. At the dam we had more than enough time to complete the Power Plant tour and to walk around the dam, take great photos and see the exhibit. All in all I would definitely recommend this company and this tour.
very good. Bil was the driver. Very knowledgeable about the Dam and about Boulder city. Very helpful and cheery.
