A great way to spend a few hours walking around the beautiful city of Boston. Great guide lots of knowledge and humour
Alan provided a wonderful tour for us. He knew his stuff! He had a great sense of humor that added a nice touch to the tour.
Go On This Tour!! Our tour Guide is Sooo knowledgeable!!
Be prepared to WALK!!
So Much History on this Beautiful City.
Knowledgeable tour leader, a great way to learn about Boston and its history in a couple of hours. Good exercise!
It was a great experience to learn about the historic value of Boston and the City trough this tour.
Excellent - Richard was our guide and was very informative and funny - would definitely recommend it
Guide was engaging and nicely interactive with a group about 20. He even ensured the two middle school age children were involved by asking them questions and at end running the Boston marathon. Just enough detail and gives a nice overview of the city. Definitely recommend if first time in Boston like me.
It was an informative and entertaining tour on the rich history of Boston. Highly recommended for anyone visting Boston.
Alan is a great tour guide for adults. He was not dressed in the revolutionary attire like some of the other guides. We overheard other tour guides and noticed that their presentation was not nearly as informative. Maybe the theatrical tour guides would be better for children, but I think adults should consider walking The Boston Freedom Trail with Alan. We got a better sense of the American Revolution than we ever got in school, and Alan even helped us plan the rest of our visit to Boston.
Excellent tour with a very knowledgeable tour guide at a great price!
Interesting and informative. Our tour guide provided many interesting facts as we strolled thorough Boston. Was an easy walk even with the extended version. We also did the bus tour but this walking tour was preferred.
It was in March this year 2017 when we joined this tour. Fortunately, it was just my daughter and I who were in the tour. Mr. Alan, the tour guide, was very knowledgable and had a great sense of humor. The pace in which we went about the walking tour was just right. We had ample time to take photos. Mr. Alan gave us some tips on which restaurants to try and which other places of interest we should see/visit in Boston.
My husband and I did the Boston Freedom Trail to Copley Square Walking Tour while visiting Boston this week. We met our guide 15 minutes before the start time across the street from the Old State House. We were in a small group of 10-12. The guide was very knowledgeable of the history and architecture of the area and kept at a good pace with stops for photos and stories of the places we were looking at. He took us into the Granery Cemetery to look at many famous grave markers and monuments. This tour cuts across
Boston Common to see the domed capital and spends some time walking by old money homes and then returns to the Public Gardens before heading toward Copley Square and seeing the newer homes and shops. The tour ends near the Boston Public Library in a great area for dining and shopping. This was a very good way to get an up-close view of the city with it's history.
Our tour guide, Allan, was very good! Very knowledgeable and funny. Would recommend it for sure!
It was a beautiful day for a walk and we had an excellent tour of Boston. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer many questions.
We had a fantastic tour with our guide, Allen. It was our first trip to Boston and we really want to go back.
Very educational and fun. Allen was knowledgeable and very good at getting everyone engaged in the tour. We enjoyed the walk and it was one of the highlights of our trip!
