Was extremely worthwhile. We had a lovely guide who took the time to show us many features on the way. We were lucky to see 4 bears on our travels and is a very worthwhile trip to take. Highly recommend to others.
Our family all enjoyed the trip with Mike!!! He was very informative, funny and easy to communicate with thru the whole trip!! He was aware of our needs and interests as well as making the trip special to those on that trip!! Super memories!
The bus is small and confortable, with excellent view. The road is spectacular, the guide is very professional and tells us good stories. the photos stops are amazing and well organized. The suspended bridge is a must. You cant get your eyes out of the road. It is absolutely beautiful. Dont miss this tour. It is cheap for the quality. We took the 10:00 hrs tour. There is one every aft hour. Dont take the boring train. This tour is musch better.
Our guide Brooke was FABULOUS! She is extremely knowledgeable, funny, and very accommodating. Ask for her!
We had a great tour! Guide was fun, friendly, and informative!
They are able to stop anywhere and take pictures, and we even stopped when we saw a baby black bear.
Great locations visited, and the guide was great at taking photos for us!
Great Value for the trip!
Our driver and guide Brooks was excellent. She was funny, and told some great stories along the way. She was also knowledgeable about Skagway, Alaska and the Yukon. We had numerous stops for photo ops. I would recommend this tour.
Beverly was great. The bus comfortable, the tour was well paced, informative and amazing scenery. All the way though the Canadian boarder to the Yukon.we were kept amused and entertained with stories of the Gold rush. We saw bear, lakes and mountains in all their splendour. Good value great tour. OUR thanks to all.
Our tour was terrific. Our guide Beverly was knowledgeable and funny and told us all kinds of great stories and history. I had taken the train last time I was in Skagway and the scenery was mostly fogged out. I liked this tour better. We went into Canada and Beverly stopped many times for pictures along the way. Pick up was easy right at the port.
The excursion and driver, Max, were excellent. The 28? passenger bus was full, clean, on time and in good shape. Max, our driver, was knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic. Really good! Scenery as we drove from Skagway up through White Pass (elevation ~3400 feet), through the alpine environment, past Fraser, then Tutshi Lake, and on to the border of BC and Yukon Territory was beautiful.
The return trip back to our ship took about an hour and 20 minutes, Very enjoyable experience.
Our guide, Brooke, was fantastic. The scenery was great. We also saw a bear, a moose, mountain goats and Iditarod puppies. The tour was 3x deeper into the frontier and half the price as as the train tour. Also, because we were in a small bus, we stopped for photos a scenic lookouts and of the wild animals we encountered. Very nice.
We had a small bus and our driver Tyler was a local man who kept us entertained with information and jokes! He went out of his way to make sure we saw bears etc. Always happy to take photos of us at the borders. A really good trip! Value for money.
The driver was very knowledgeable and amiemable, I would recommend this tour to my fellow travelers.
If you like taking photos, you'll have plenty of amazing opportunities on this excursion.
I highly recommend this tour, our tour guide Brook was the best, we stopped numerous times for pictures, the beauty of this tour was absolutely gorgeous, I felt like I was looking at a postcard. She was very informative about the area. It was worth every penny spent.
it was incredible.. the best excursion we took on our Alaskan Cruise.. our tour guide was Brook.. very informed and very entertaining.. the stops were beautiful, as were just looking out the window as we drove thru.. Any question we asked, she knew the answer.. I tried to review this excursion before, but for some reason it never took.. was disappointed because really wanted to let you know this was one of the highlights of our trip.. the price was good too
So very pleased with this tour ,Every turn screamed ,take my picture, the scenery was incredible. I liked the fact we could get out and walk to the beach, take water from the bridal falls , take tons of photos and feel the beauty surrounding us. Our guide was very informative and fun. went above and beyond many guides. The price was great, Recommended it to ladies we met during the trip and they couldn,t thank me enough, they loved it too, we saw Alasks at it,s bet!
We were in a small van of only 10 people with a fascinating tour guide on this beautiful trip to the Yukon.
Only 9 of us on this tour. Lots of photo stops and very informative driver/ guide. Would recommend this tour.
Amazing. Our tour guide was so informative and also very funny. The scenery is spectacular. Had lots of stops for photo opportunities our guide turned the bus around so we could get good photos of a black bear. He brought along his own book to pass around about history of the gold rush. Brilliant.
There were four of us on this tour and we agreed that this was much better than taking the train. The driver of the van was from Scagway, which is more relevant than someone just working in Alaska for the summer. She could tell us what it was like to live in Scagway. When we saw the mama bear with her cub, the driver pulled right over and stopped so we could take photos and enjoy watching them. She understood her passengers. She managed her time well and we got to see what we had hoped to see. Taking our photos under the Yukon sign was pretty neat!
