Great trip. We enjoyed the entire trip. Special thanks to boat ride in 10,000 island and dolphins viewing. We saw dolphins in wild within few inches from our boat. Air boat ride was also exceptional. Get to see Everglades and mature very closely.
Learned so much about Florida. Saw MANY alligators and birds. It was a great way to spend the day
Our driver and guide Doug was informative and organized. He covered the history and biology of the Everglades, including current concerns such as development that threaten this valuable ecosystem. Jeff, the skiff captain at Chokoloskee, was a treat with his humor and native son stories. Our airboat pilot at Trafford Lake took us right into the shore habitat for close up viewing. We saw plenty of gators, snakes, and birds. Lunch in Everglades City at City Seafood was yummy. All of this is offered in a small group tour. I would highly recommend this trip. We did this in February before mosquito season.
There was a lot to cover on this day trip. I will mention what I can remember. Our naturalist, who was from Boston, was great! A real environmentalist and able to instruct us. It wasn't hot when we went so we needed No DEET but I could only imagine that going into the forest we would get mosquito bites more than the 5 we got in January. You were able to take very nice wildlife and waterfowl pictures along the way. There are a Lot of alligators on the tour! There were a few legs of this trip and each were informative parts that tell the story of Florida's beginnings. The airboat ride was very fun! I highly recommend this tour if you want to know All about Florida's history and environmental past. Love to get close to nature and get great pictures of Many bird species.
We really enjoyed the experience. The airboat ride was great, we saw a lot of wildlife birds, alligators. The walk was a bit of a challenge due to the heat and the mosquitos. In the afternoon we enjoyed a ride in the ocean, where we saw dolphins, horseshoecrabs and manatees.Annie, our guide was very knowledgeable.
Our tour guide was young and very knowledgeable about the animals, fauna and area. We would do again in a heartbeat. Excellent time to see many alligator's, dolphins, variety of birds and nice scenery. Nice to have a smaller group to hear and ease of keeping the pace.
What a great day..our guide was very knowledgeable, and personable. Be sure to remember your binoculars as well as your camera. Would highly recommend this tour.
Simply Amazing. Doug was tremendous. Highly recommend for a wonderful nature tour of the glads.
Every facet of this trip was wonderful...from Ann our guide in the van to Trevor who operated our skiff to the Captain to operated the airboat ride it was wonderful! We got to see so many great things and everyone had great stories and shared info about what we were seeing and the history behind many of the things we saw...Highly recommend this tour!
An excellent tour with a knowledgeable guide. We saw birds and alligators galore and learned much of the history of the areas we travelled through.
We had a fantastic time. The trip far exceeded our expectations. Our guides were very knowledgeable and did everything they could to make our experience exceptional. We saw tons of wildlife! The day was very well organized and we highly recommend this adventure ... Thanks for making our experience very memorable ...
Everything about this tour was great--the guide Randy was very informative and friendly. Our air boat ride was a great trip as was the boat ride into the Everglades. It is a long day, but it is well worth the time and money. I would do it again!!!!
This is now the third tour we have taken with Viator and were again blown away by the passion and knowledge of our guide and the content and pace of the day spent in the Everglades. The tour was packed full of interest and adventure. The small number in our group 8 was perfect to take full advantage of the day. I would recommend Viator to anyone who is interested in learning more whilst on a break. Superb value for money.
This exceeded my expectations. It was soo amazing to see gators, a gator best, a baby gator, Dolphins, birds, lizards, and a bunch of other wildlife. This was a bucket list thing for me and I am amazed how amazing this really was.
