We had an excellent experience the day we took the Hollywood tour with your company the driver Dave was very
knowledgeable and pleasant to be with we had a wonderful experience that day
Amazing Tour. Even though traffic was pretty bad, Paul was super patient and entertaining. The dispatcher was also helpful. Communication. Service. And over all experience is great. We went during the busiest time of the year. Just a few days before 1/1/19. The tour was longer than usual due to traffic but again Paul was great!
Our LA tour was great. Paul did an excellent job of showing us the highlights and giving us details and history of the area.
This tour was even better than we thought it would be. Our tour guide Paul, was definitely the nicest, most knowledgeable and friendliest tour guide I've ever had. He made the whole tour feel like we were hanging out with friends and learning about the city while doing so.
We took this tour on day 3 of out 35 days trip, and as such we got lost and ran late for our tour.
Solution was to upgrade to a private tour. This was a great option as it resulted in us saying where we wanted to go and what we wanted to see. For example I was able to go to the Forever Hollywood Cemetery and pay my respects to Don Adams Maxwell Smart agent 86
This was a great tour and our guide was excellent .
I would highly recommend doing the private tour
Great tour. Absolutely loved it, had a great tour guide unfortunately his name slips my mind now who was just full of information. Had an amazing driver also. Even when waiting to be picked up originally, another driver turned up to pick up another group and rung through to make sure we had a bus coming. Tour ran a little late, but this can be expected with LA traffic at such a busy time of the year. Would highly recommend.
If you want a great tour then look up Paul for your next tour guide. From the start of our tour, Paul made us feel at ease, he was courteous, polite and most of all very knowledgeable about the Downtown Los Angeles and Hollywood area.
If you want to have a meaningful and memorable experience I recommend Paul.
Thanks for the great tour!
Great tour! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable of the area. Great way to see the city!
We had an amazing tour with a personable, knowledgeable guide, a resident of LA for 35 years. She knew everything about the city and easily answered our numerous questions. I'm sure we saw things most tours wouldn't even know about.
Can't recommend this tour highly enough!!!! So fun!!!
Host Carlos was very knowledgeable and managed to tell us about everything whilst negotiating the traffic!
A good trip, duration just about right.
I would recommend this trip to other travellers.
I had a wonderful time. I came to LA from Chicago with my mom and we had the pleasure of being guided by a sweet lady named Bing. She was awesome. Very knowledgeable and took us to some awesome sites in LA. It wasn't just your average Hollywood tour. I enjoyed it throughly!
This was a terrific tour company and we highly recommend! Cost was reasonable and it was like a friend took us around to all the best places to see - and that friend knew how to navigate the crazy California traffic like a pro. We really got to see everything we had hoped and more. The friendly staff helped with everything from where to park our RV and get picked up, to all the cool insider info about the area, to helping locate items we forgot in the tour vehicle. Note that this tour is in an air-conditioned passenger van, which makes things very comfortable, but a bit harder to see some of the sights like tall downtown buildings. Lots of stops help with that issue - we were free to get out and get all the pictures we wanted. Would definitely take this tour again!
Carlos was our tour guide - positively THE BEST! He demonstrated amazing skill at navigating LA traffic and turns while describing - NON-STOP, every building and site of interest, complete with history and anecdotes. And it was clear from his accent that English was his second language. Well done, Carlos!
Had a great time! Guide was awesome and would definitely recommend!!
This was a wonderful afternoon tour, made even better by our personable and professional guide Paul. On the morning of our tour he called me and offered to pick us up at the Hollywood Historic Hotel where we were staying as it wasn't on the list and we'd have to travel to meet at another hotel. This was so nice of him and made our tour even better. We saw so much of LA and Hollywood, truly a great way to get to know the area without being out in the heat especially during the challenging afternoon traffic. The Griffin Observatory was an unexpected surprise. The highlight for me was finding the star of my favorite actor, Tom Hanks, on the Walk of Fame.
The only site we missed was the Hollywood Sign. That will have to be for our next trip. Kudos to Viator for providing this tour and using Guidline! Thank you all, Linda and Jennie
Initially there was a problem - not Guidlines - in my booking. Our hotel was outside the usual pick area for the tour. Paul at Guideline Tours said he would personally come and pick us up. Thanks Paul you were kind, knowledgeable about the sights and the history, and you drove well. We had a great afternoon. One of the highlights of our holiday. All the best from the couple from Australia.
Loved the tour. Pick up was prompt... right at our hotel. The tour guide was quite entertaining and knowledgable about the city. The vehicle was a Mercedes van so it wasn't too big or too small. We were a family of four. There was also another family of 4 and a family of 3. We got to see all the major attractions, Hollywood sign, Griffith Park, Hollywood blvd, Dolby theatre, Grauman's chinese theatre etc. Plus we toured famous star's neighbourhoods. Our guide was knowledgeable and very friendly and wasn't rushed about getting back. Great way to get an overview of L.A.
THIS TOUR WAS EXCELLENT! The lady who picked us up was the owner of the tour company. There were supposed to be 3 couples on the tour, but one could not be found after we waited a few minutes at their hotel. She decided to give us the DELUXE tour. We rode through neighborhoods and saw homes of celebrities such as The Rock, Elvis, Prince, Redd Foxx, and more. She stopped multiple times for us to get out, walk, and take pictures. The tour was worth more than the price, I would definitely do it again if I am ever in LA.
