After an approximate 2.5-hour drive from Las Vegas by comfortable, air-conditioned van, arrive at the heart of Death Valley National Park in the Mojave Desert. Enjoy breathtaking photos opportunities at Zabriskie Point, located just east of Death Valley, known for its erosional landscape. Admire cascading hills and valleys on a scenic drive through stunning Artist’s Palette, a rock formation illuminated in vibrant colors, before stopping at the salt flats of Badwater Basin. At 280 feet (85 meters) below sea level, this is the lowest point in the Western Hemisphere!
Next, head to the Furnace Creek visitor center. Furnace Creek is the ancestral land of the Timbisha Native American tribe, and is also one of the hottest places in North America. Our guide was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable about the geographic and human history of the area. Highly recommend this trip!
119 degrees! But an excellent trip led by an excellent guide (Kriss).Very informative about geology, history of the area, natural history, early settlers etc.At this temperature though you can't be away from the air conditioning of the minibus more than say 10 minutes.Very good add on to the Grand Canyon and adjacent parks (which we had just done). Minibus fine for a day trip but would be a bit cramped for a longer trip.
Amazingly surprised trip to Death Valley with my daughter. Our guide Jenni is very knowledgeable and gave us so much info not only about Death Valley but Las Vegas too. We had so much fun. Highly recommend this trip - photos doesnt do it justices. It was just AMAZING. Thank you Jenni.
The scale of Death Valley is awesome and stunning. Our guide Kriss from Brindlestiff Tours really helped to make the day very special.
We were collected on time at 0800 at our hotel New York New York. Once in the area, stops at several points, display the uniqueness of the place. It's hot as you would expect, but cold water and air conditioning in the coach helped alleviate matters. The standard tour visits Dante's View, Zabriski Point, Devils Golf Course, Badwater and the Artist's Palette. We were returned to our hotel at 1700 hours. Brilliant a Day.
This was a magnificent small group tour. The guide, John was one of the best guides you could have. Very knowledgeable and keen to share his knowledge with you. Death Valley was truly amazing and something you need to see with your own eyes to truly appreciate. It was probably the hottest place I have ever been to in my life. The walk out on the salt plain was amazing. I can highly recommend this tour, you will not be disappointed.
Excellent trip. Small vehicle but great tour guide. Always on time and a great personality.
Amazing. Our guide was great and able to fill the travel time with interesting facts and history about the Vegas as well as Death Valley. Would definitely recommend this tour. Having someone do the driving so you can absorb all the scenery is wonderful.
Truly outstanding tour featuring a very knowledgeable guide. Our group bonded very well thanks to the skills of our driver and guide.
I strongly reccommend this tour.
Tour with a small group, very professionally guided with a real personal touch. More than enough time to see all the highlights such as Dante's peak, Zabriskie Point, Badwater Basin, Devil's golf course and more.
Great fun and Joel was an excellent host and driver with loads of local knowledge. Went in January so the weather was perfect, not too hot or too cold. Also, the best stuff was saved till the end so the day kept getting better and better! Would recommend to anyone looking to spend a day outside of Vegas.
What a wonderful adventure we had. Our driver who was knowledgeable, friendly and had a great voice to listen to. I'm sorry, his name escapes me at this time. Dante's view was our first stop in Death Valley and the wind was crazy and it was chilly, not usually for that area. By the time we made our way down to below Sea Level, the wind was still crazy but a lot warmer. Could not imagine doing that trip during the summer. Looking for something different to do, this is a tour for you. So many amazing sites to see. Will post some photo's later.
A very good small group tour of Death Valley with knowledgeable guide .
Great tour with a very knowledgeable and friendly guide, highly recomended.
Amazing tour. Jennie our tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative during our drive to Death Valley. We stopped as all the major points of interest and had plenty times for photos and were not rushed throughout the day. A fresh packed lunch was provided and any amount of water
Loved this tour and even though it was within a small area of the National Park was none the less full of extraordinary sights ----- each one quite different and quite amazing. We were lucky to see the wild flower super bloom and our guide Jeannie made sure we stopped at a good spot to get great photos. Was a truly wonderful day and fulfilled my wish to see Death Valley.
