White Rim Road 4WD Tour (4 hours)Make your own way to central Moab to meet your guide then hop into a comfortable 4WD vehicle for an exhilarating morning drive through the Island in the Sky district of Canyonlands National Park.
Your guide expertly steers the 4WD over rugged terrain and hair-raising switchbacks to reach the White Rim Road, a 100-mile (160-km) loop located about 1,000 feet (300 meters) above the Colorado and Green Rivers and 1,000 feet below the mesa. Travel a portion of the White Rim Road and take in stunning views of Fossil Point and the scenic landscape, then connect to the Shafer Trail, which runs from the Colorado River all the way to the top of the mesa. Stop along the route to see rock art made by ancient Pueblo civilizations thousands of years ago.
Fisher Towers White-Water Rafting (4 hours)After you refuel with a riverside buffet lunch, switch from 4WD to white-water rafts to experience the majestic Colorado River up close. Before hitting the water, review river safety guidelines and get outfitted with a lifejacket and other river gear. Then step into a raft with an experienced river guide who steers your raft downriver.
Expect thrills and splashes during white-water sections with Class II and III rapids, followed by calm water sections where you can take photos of the incredible scenery and perhaps even swim. The Fisher Towers area features soaring canyon walls, giant rock spires and plenty of wildlife, giving the impression that you are in a remote wilderness even though Moab is nearby.
Throughout your full-day tour, your guides share the human and natural history of Canyonlands National Park and the Colorado River corridor. After a fantastic day of off-roading and rafting, you are returned to Moab where your tour ends.

Four of us, aged from 9 yr to 70 yr. Perfect choice for us. We did the drive in the morning and the rafting in the afternoon. The guides were very very knowledgeable and showed great empathy to us and the different needs of our party. A special shoutout to Doug and Jonah!
Buzz was the guide for the 4-wheeling part of our day. He was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the environment giving us a deeper appreciation of its beauty and challenges to its sustainability.
Emily was our delightfully refreshing guide on the floating leg of our day. Her enthusiasm and joy for her work gave us the most amazing afternoon on the river.
The Canyonlands Jeep Tour with Tyler was amazing and well worth it. He kept the tour fun and interesting and we were able to stop and take spectacular pictures along the way. The afternoon white water rafting was mediocre at best. The description claims you'll be going over Level 2 and 3 rapids. We had Level 1 and only a few Level 2 rapids. Our guide, Kolton, was great and allowed the kids to swim at different spots along the way. The water level in the Colorado river was low, so not sure if that contributed to it, but we were hoping for a more exciting ride. If I could rate each experience separately I'd give the jeep tour a 5 star and the Colorado River Rafting a 2.5 star. Both guides were excellent.
This tour was great! I know we saw so much more of Canyonlands than we ever would've seen on our own. Buzz was not only fun but very knowledgeable as well! Our raft trip with Tubs was a perfect afternoon activity.
We did a jeep tour in the morning and a rafting tour in the afternoon. Everybody loved it! Guides were great, very informative and fun! Can't wait to do it again next year.
We had wanted to do the full day Canyonlands trip, but thee were not enough of us. The company were very helpful in offering suitable alternative.
The jeep trip was stunning.
The rafting was nice, A drift rather than white water. It was lovely swimming in the river
Alex was our driver for the 4 wheel drive part of the tour. It was a very scenic tour of the Canyonlands National Park area and we learned a lot about the back ground for the area. We stopped and took a lot of pictures after that we went down the river with Owen for the rafting part of the tour. Their was some white water, but it was mainly just a float. We ate sandwiches for lunch and got to sample the Palisades peaches. I would recommend bringing a water bottle, even though water is provides its only in cups.
The guides all made us feel like family and you could tell they took pride in the area and their jobs
Enjoyed the tour of Canyonlands and felt that we saw much more than we would on our own. Would recommend this. The rafting portion was disappointing. Although it was relaxing, there was a lot of wasted time spent traveling and having lunch and the time spent on the river was not nearly as exciting as other rafting experiences that we have had elsewhere.
Our driver, John, was extremely knowledgeable and shared many personal stories about the area as well as an enormous amount of history and geologic information. The views were breathtaking and it felt like we were seeing parts of the canyon that not many see. I've read many complaints about the wait time in between the ride and the rafting and the set up problems for lunch, but both were minimal and gave us a chance to talk with others on the trip. Once on the river, our new guide Addie was amazing as were all the others that we came in contact with on the river. She also knew so much about the area and the formations along the ride. Again, many have complained about the slow ride down the river and lack of rapids. They don't advertise it as anything other than a float. We entertained ourselves with the sheer beauty of the area, epic water fights with other rafts, time to swim in the river and enjoy each others' company.
The morning was great with Sharon guiding us through Canyonlands NP, then the afternoon rafting trip was a great way to cool our bodies down. The water was mostly smooth, but the guides helped us get as wet as we wanted to get. NavTek was great, would highly recommend them!!
Best way to see The CanyonLands, which is the largest of the Utah 5 national parks. In the morning we had Buzz, who drove us around on the hairiest and scariest Roads on cliff edges. He was an expert in the area and educated us on geology and history and other interesting facts of the CanyonLands, his favorite park. In the afternoon we had lunch and did a river raft on the Colorado River with Mitch. The scenery was beautiful ! The rafting was mostly gentle, with a few whitewaters. Mitch was educating and entertaining. We felt we had the best of both worlds seeing The CanyonLands from above, on and below.
We booked before arriving to Moab and hit a patch of bad weather. Staff was very friendly but seemed rushed. Didn't finish the rafting due to rain. Expensive for what we received!
The rafting trip was not so great. You may just sit down en look around. There is almost no speeding of the water. It would be nice if you may do the paddling yourself.
Our reservation was not planned in. But the arranged everything, so we could do the whole trip!
But the kano where we asked for was not arranged!
The 4x4 was great, we had a goed driver and he told us a lot.
If you do the 4x4 in the afternoon there is more time to do some viewings than in the morning, so ask for the afternoon!!!
We originally booked the 4x4 experience with the rafting. Luckily, we called the day before to confirm and found out our trip was cancelled. I would highly advise a call to the tour company a day in advance to verify reservations. The tour company was gracious enough to move us to the all day 4x4 experience. Great tour guides, knowledgeable and friendly. We were able to travel to sections of Canyonlands that we would never have been able to see on our own. The park is massive! Lunch is just cold cuts, chips and fresh fruit, nothing lavish. We were informed that the river rafting wasn't all that great in that area, so all ended well for us.
Great 4x4 experience with family and friends through the Canyonlands with our drivers Larry, Sharron and Johnny! They made the experience exciting, educational and personable. Ask for them! Finished the day cooling down on a 1/2 day rafting trip with our awesome raftmaster Rob. Choose Navtec!
Fantastic morning ground tour through the canyon floor of Canyonlands. Really amazing adventure and not something you would want to do yourself without a really high-wheelbase 4WD and a very experienced 4WD driver, with local knowledge. The afternoon rafting section of the tour, which was operated by another tour organizer, was OK once we hit the water but the administration around it left a lot to be desired more time waiting around than on the water!
