I wanted to do something a bit more involved than just an airboat ride to look at an alligator, and this is definitely what I was looking for.
Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about both the natural ecosystem as well as the local towns and people. Made the experience very enjoyable and were able to appreciate the whole area much more.
Would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting the area.
This tour gave us an extensive experience of the Everglades, with Mark our driver/guide being very knowledgeable. The walk in the Everglades allowed us to see many birds and numerous alligators of all sizes up close. The boat ride through the 10000 Islands to the Gulf of Mexico was interesting with a bottlenose dolphin coming along for part of the ride. Lunch at a mexican restaurant was nice and the airboat ride was a bit of fun.
We had a great time. Chris was very knowledgeable. If you are looking for something that is not your typical tourist trip, this is great.
I really enjoyed my trip. The tour guides were friendly and the boat operator had lots of funny jokes! I would definitely go again!
Great tour. Great value. Stacy gives an awesome tour and Mark our driver was very friendly and knowledgeable.
The best experience on our holiday to Miami! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
The group was small 9 people guide, perfectly organised e.g. we have chosen our lunch order, before entering the very first attraction, so on lunch time all food was ready and we haven't waist any minute waiting for it and the guide was a 'nature freak' :. She knew A LOT about the surrounding nature, and could answer all the questions asked by the group we had an ornithologist in our group, so answering questions was not easy. The price of the trip felt heigh at first, but we saw so many things in so luxurious conditions, that now I feel it was very cheap.
SUMMARY: Perfectly organised trip for those who want to see all the beauty of Everglades. Best trip so far. Highly recommended. :
This tour was amazing! If you have a whole day available, its a great way to experience the Everglades in an immersion way--and, with a delicious lunch as well! Our guide, Sand, who is also an owner, was a natural-born biologist, as well as being nice as can be! We had a Miccosukee guide on our air boat ride and he was very entertaining as well as knowledgeable. Our lake cruise was a really interesting ride with a local tour guide who lived in the area forever. The walk was in the best weather and we were there early enough that the crowds were non-existent. By the time we left, crowds were roaring in to Everglades National Park.
I would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanted to learn a lot about the Everglades in a short period of time. The tour groups are small and everything was well-organized, pleasant and perfect!
Absolutely fantastic day. My family had an experience like no other, with a wonderfully informative, friendly and funny guide who looked after us like we were friends. The stops were brilliant, we came away feeling like we know the everglades, its culture, wildlife and residents. Highly recommended.
Perfect organization and places to visit! I would recommend this tour!
