He had a great sense of humour and made it very interesting for the kids too. If you ever visit philly make sure this tour is the first thing you do. You wont be disappointed . Tim was a good guide with great stories about Ben F. :-) We covered good part of the old city. What I was missing was a visit to the graveyard and the bell - wouldn't mind extra 20 minutes to cover it. Otherwise great tour for a good price!

Tim was an amazing tour guide, historian and storyteller. There were 11 people in our group and it was the perfect size. Tim was enthusiastic and truly enjoyed sharing his knowledge of the interesting city of Philadelphia. He also extended our tour to cover some added sites he wanted us to see. Anne Fettel

What a great trip and wonderful tour guide. This was truly an Old City Walking tour hitting many historical sites. This tour including many of the sites which are not just Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. I probably would have never walked to Elfreths Ally, Betsy Ross House, Christ Church or the Market Street Houses. This is a must do in Philly to understand the historical relevance of this city.

Very interesting tour. Our tour guide, Tim, was very personable. We the customers were pressed for time and since out tour was very small we were able to speed it up by brisk walking. So we got a little exercise to boot. Will definitely book more Viator tours.

This was the best tour we took in Philly. The guide was very informative. He also took a couple of breaks for bathroom or drinks, which was nice. I loved the stories he told and all of the details about the buildings and the way life was like in colonial times. A

My 17 year son and I really enjoyed our walking tour. Tim and Chip were GREAT. This was the last day of a long trip visiting historical sites and taking tours. My 17 year son decided he was DONE with tours. But He really liked this tour. Tim and Chip are both former teachers and GREAT instructors.

We loved our walking tour - very small group - lots of time to ask questions - we never stumped out guide. He was funny and helped make learning history fun! The reason we came to Philadelphia was to give our son a visual tour of everything he is about to learn in honors history this fall term - he talked about the facts and stories he had learned the entire way home in the car - mission accomplished - thank you for a great family experience.
