Overview Overview

Our afternoon tour from Portland sets out to explore two of the greatest attractions of the Pacific Northwest – walk in 'Waterfall Alley' of the Columbia Gorge National Scenic Area and sip beautiful Oregon wines in the outdoor adventure hub of Hood River!

We will drive along the Historic Columbia River Highway where you are greeted at every bend of the road with another breathtaking view. We'll take in a few of the 70 waterfalls found in the Columbia Gorge Scenic Area, including the highest waterfall in the Pacific Northwest, the 620′-high Multnomah Falls. Opportunities for hiking, splashing, and photography abound! Learn the ins and outs of the ecology of the Columbia River from your Tripadvisor 'Hall of Fame' naturalist guide.

After experiencing the natural beauty and historic grandeur of the "Gorge," head to quaint Hood River, Oregon, to visit two of Oregon’s best boutique wineries to taste fine wines while learning about the art of wine making! We cover all tasting fees.
