My husband and I really enjoyed this walking food tour. Each stop was somewhere we would not have picked on our own but are definitely in our Miami favorites now! The food was delicious, the guide was friendly and engaging, and the walk was not more challenging than my out-of-shape self could handle. Highly recommend.
We had an awesome time with Faruk. He knew everyone in South Beach and all the back story on the history of this area. The food was great - Cuban sandwiches and Cuban coffee, Argentinian empanadas, Mediterranean food, Brazilian food, Art Deco your including the Betsy Orb and a whole insight into the influence of Miami Vice. Saw a great Art Deco building and then had rolled ice cream. Our tour took 4 hours of non stop fun!! Thank you!!
Had a great trip with Furuk... I’d highly recommend to anyone wanting a tour around south beach, the different areas and cuisines.
Our tour was a very enjoyable experience with our tour guide Faruk. We had great food at each location and Faruk was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. This was one of the best highlights of our trip to Miami and we would highly recommend this tour.
The guide was courteous, respectful and friendly. He was also thorough in explaining the cultural part of South beach's cuisine and it's architecture. I will recommend this tour to friends and family.
This was a fantastic evening. Farouk was well informed, friendly and interesting. The restaurants selected offered a variety of cuisines and a real insight into the local color of South Beach. Highly recommended.
Our tour guide, Faruk was amazing. So personable, he made everyone feel welcomed and comfortable. He was so knowledgeable not only in the restaurants we went to, but also about Miami, it's art deco, it's people, it culture...just amazing! The food samples were delish and the restaurants he took us to, were beautiful with the nicest people. I highly recommend taking this tour the first day arriving in Miami, so you will get familiar with the area, the restaurants and places to see. Wear comfortable shoes because there will be a lot of waking, sooo worth it! I am doing this again next time I am in Miami!
Great food with a nice selection on restaurants. Guide also had a lot of interesting nuggets of info for us.
Excellent guide who took us to interesting places. Guide had deep understanding of both US history/culture and European history/culture, giving him the advantage of putting matters in perspective. Handled questions well.
Excellent tour. Faruk knows the area, the people, the food, and the culture. Friendly, professional, and casual trip around South Beach. Exactly what we were looking for.highly recommend this tour.
We had a fun Saturday night starting with an excellent cup and discussion of different Cuban coffees, followed by samples at numerous small and interesting local restaurants. While walking in between restaurants our very personable host filled us in on Miami history and architecture. High points were a stop at a restaurant on Espanola Way with the yellow Trumpet trees in bloom, and a delicious dessert. I would highly recommend not only for the food, but for the good conversation.
The guide was so knowledgeable, we had a great time and tasted many delicious things. I highly recommend this to anyone. We have been starting our visits to cities with a walking food tour, we find it gives us a great introduction to the city and knowledge of foodie places.
I don't know if you fellow travelers know /I've been traveling all around the world/ but those food walking tours are the best way to get to know the city! Loved it! Seriously you will get a lots of food! You get to know 'smaller' places with an amazing food and you can get lots of information about city from your tour guide! Cuban Coffee and Cuban Sandwich in the small coffee shop was excellent! And my Tour Guide was very knowledgeable !! Highly Recommend this tours for people interesting in Art Deco and local food!!
Excellent tour. Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes. I recommend the evening time as you get to see parts of Miami at night.
This tour was not only delicious, but SO educational! The restaurants we visited were family owned, which we appreciated and held so much culture! The Cuban sandwich and the Vietnamese ice cream at Miami Ice were our favorites! We visited Lincoln Road and Ocean Drive which held so much history!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour- our guide was intelligent and informed with a terrific personality. Our guide is from Macedonial and the two other couples on our tour were from Sweden so we had some interesting discussions while we stopped for food. The tastings were never rushed we lingered in several restaurants after our meals were done. I do mean meals. We started with a large Cuban sandwich and cubano coffee, sampled empanadas and went on for several more stops before winding up with a most unusual dish of ice cream- very different and very delicious. To say more would spoil the surprise. Our guide saved the best for last we wound up on Ocean Ave. to view the Art Deco hotels/restaurants after nightfall when they were all lit up in their neon glory. The tour lasted well beyond the hours posted. Would definitely recommend
We had an amazing Trip with faruk. He showed all hotspotos of Miami Beach and told us interesting thinks about the history and present time how life in Miami is. The locations of the food were fantastic, we would never had found this places by our selve. Thank you so much for the incredible tour. We would book again
