Thank you for such a very good day, special thanks to our touring guide Ron, his experienced giving great adventure!
Picked up from our Hotel Marriott Waterfront at 7am and dropped back at our hotel at 5.40pm.The day was well paced. Not rushed but had enough time to look around at each stop. A stop is made half way from Seattle to Mt Rainier National Park at a Safeway grocery store to enable you to purchase lunch for later on. The bulk of the day was spent at Paradise which has food available but gets busy. We had around 2hrs at Paradise to enjoy the trails. A couple of other stops are made in the park to take pictures of the views. Approx 2hr drive to Mt Rainier and two hrs back to Seattle.John the driver and tour guide was informative and friendly.Overall worth doing.
Great day full of hikes and unbelievable scenery. Guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining during our 11 hour tour.
This tour was made extra special by having a tour guide knowing all the great places to stop for pictures (Chris) a having a engaging personality with the riders. Got to see waterfalls, marmot and Mt. Rainer along with beautiful scenery and a guide who new the history of the area. Getting ice cream or sodas at the end of the tour was an added bonus.
Our full day tour to My. Rainer offered breathtaking views and expert narration from a truly knowledgeable tour guide. It was a long day, but well wirth the time. We received an education on tectonic plates and volcanic activity, and topped the afternoon off with an ice cream stop, I highly recommend this tour.
We enjoyed this tour very much. Our tour guide was awesome and knowledgeable and even though it was a long day, we got to do a lot of hiking and seeing the beauty of the Pacific Northwest in Mt. Rainier National Park. :)
John was a great tour guy for us. We had a safe, happy experience. John was very careful and alway tell us about rules and tell us history about Seattle and Mt. Rainier story. I had a great time spend with my daughter. Thank you! We will come back!Jin Fang from Fairport NY
Day trip. Early pickup. We saw a more than expected. Route was well planned. Stops we're perfect. Guide was knowledgeable. And Mt Rainier is beautiful!
Chris was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, warm, and attentive to our needs. A perfect overview of Rainier
Johnathan was an excellent tour guide. We were very lucky to see some of the most beautiful landscapes and scenery. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone.
Do not miss this trip. It was truly wonderful. We saw so many locations in one day, but it didn’t seem rushed. We had time to explore our own. The guide was terrific.
The tour was a solid 8 hours of great information and fun learning about Mt. Rainer. This tour is fitting for any age!
Our tour guild Rick was excellent! Very knowledgeable and sheared all kinds of interesting facts about WA and Rainer.
Our guide was amazing! She sounded like Ellen and just as sweet. She was very knowledgeable about the area and even rearranged the order of our stops to avoid some not so great weather that could've made the hiking less fun. She made sure to check in with the group and ask about any pit stops we'd like to make in lieu of the ones she had planned. I absolutely recommend this tour!
A perfect day trip to the national park, with enough time to hike on our own for a couple of hours. Our guide was terrific.
Very best part of our visit to Seattle area. The driver was awesome, with knowledge of the area and a good sense of humor. We absolutely loved this tour to the base of Mt. Rainier!!!
We couldn't go up to the Paradise point. We went up to Cougar Rock and it started snowing heavily.
It was a great trip and our guide took us to some of the small attractions on the way, like the metal
artist, and everyone on the bus liked those.
Excellent guide, beautiful scenery. Every effort was made to ensure the perfect excursion.
I really enjoyed this tour. Our driver was knowledgeable and chatted to us for the majority of the journey about things of interest.
What I don't get is why people talk to each other through this so it is sometimes difficult to hear. If you're not interested in finding out about the area, why go on such a tour? One lady was even talking on her mobile!
We had a number of comfort breaks and stops at places of interest too which was great. We stopped at a supermarket on the way out so we could purchase a picnic lunch or you could buy food at the Mount Rainier café if you preferred. A cold box was provided to put any purchased food in.
My only small gripe was that we were first to be collected and last to be dropped off which meant a very long day but they did their best by providing a second driver on arrival back into Seattle to help with drop offs at a busy time.
Aided by stunning weather this was a fantastic day out. Lucinda our guide/driver was full of interesting information on the area. Great food and comfort stops and kept us well informed of the options. The scenery is stunning, especially the autumn Fall colours and Lucinda knew all the best viewing spots. A long but very worthwhile day.
