Tyler was our guide. He was very knowledgeable and was very nice. He walked slow and accommodating to all. The garden district is so nice.
Sean B. was absolutely wonderful in giving a very thorough and fun tour of both LaFayette cemetery and the Garden District.
Ronie was extremely informing of the cemetery and Garden District. Well planned tour. Sad;y we thought we were going to St. Louis #1 not Lafayette #1 cemetery. Slight disappointment but his expertise was very educational.
Dario was our guide on both the Ghost tour and the Garden District. He was so personable and made the tours fun. He was knowledgeable, informative, and answered all our questions. I would highly recommend getting this tour guide for a wonderful time.
Great tour! Our guide Michael was very knowledgeable and made it a very interesting and enjoyable experience.
I loved this part of New Orleans. The cemetery was fascinating. Our guide seemed most impressed with name dropping about the people who live or lived in the homes. The evening after the tour, we were watching NCIS, New Orleans and one of the homes we saw was used in a scene from the show. That was pretty cool to see.
Our tour guide Terry was great. She was a teacher on summer break so definitely very knowledgeable about the area we toured and even brought visual aids to explain the history. Super friendly as well with great suggestions for lunch.
My wife and I were pretty excited to do this tour, but were a little concerned that our 12 and 11 year old daughters would be disinterested. That was all put to rest by our tour guide who was a middle school teacher. She kept us all engaged and taught us all about the homes and cemetery.
Sean was our tour guide and he was so great! He taught us so much about the surrounding area of the Garden District and Lafayette cemetery. It was a nice small group and questions were encouraged. It was a nice way to learn about some of the history of such a beautiful part of the city.
Andy did a fantastic job. The pace of this walking tour was just right and we had a nice small group of 3 couples. The cemetery was locked due to Mardi Gras but we stopped outside the gates and Andy educated us on the raised graves and some history of the families that are represented here.
Andy was on time, personable and knowledgeable, he is a great ambassador for New Orleans.
The 6th grade teacher/guide was knowledgeable and fun personality. Perhaps too long in cemetary and could have extended the neighborhood portion. Overall really enjoyed it!
We really enjoyed our tour. Dario was a great guide. Learned so much about the cemetery and Garden District. Got much more with the guide than we would have on our own.
We were instructed to meet the tour at the street car stop. It took us a long time to wait to board the street car. All attempts to contact the tour company had failed as the listed on certificate number is not in service. When we got to the meeting place tout had already left. No one had contacted us even phone number was provided.
WE had a wonderful time visiting the Lafayette Cemetery, the St. Louis Cemetery, Bourbon Street, Mardi Gras World, riding the streetcars, and of course eating. There are so many wonderful restaurants, my favorite had to be the Acme Oyster House, which came highly recommended and Mr. B's.
Great fun, historic tour of the garden district. We started in Lafayette cemetery and ended walking around seeing the various homes. You get a small break to grab a cool drink because it is hot humid, at least when we were there. I highly recommend it, the tour guide was knowledgable and fun. There is a lot of history in Lousianna and New Orleans. Really neat.
