Get acquainted with your chariot for the day, the Segway, which is easy to learn to use, and check out the bridge, which features 64-foot-high steel pylons that give off a captivating light. The bridge was designed by Italian architect Paolo Soleri and is meant to demonstrate the importance of solar features.

Then it’s on to the very first US Post Office building, which now operates as Porter’s Western Store. Glide past other historic buildings including the Farmer’s State Bank, now the Rusty Spur Saloon, and the Roald Amundsen Pullman Private Railroad Car, built in 1928.

We loved the Segway tour of Scottsdale. We were novice Segway riders and arrived at our departure location a bit anxious. The guides did a great job with a safety video, safety equipment and practice in the parking lot. By the time we hit the road riding seemed intuitive and very safe. We covered a lot of Old Scottsdale and enjoyed the narration delivered on our personal earphones. I'd recommend the tour to anyone looking for a new and fun way to explore a vacation destination.
This Segway tour was so much fun! They provided an excellent safety video, and plenty of practice time in the parking lot. I was amazed at how quickly we adapted to riding the Segways. We covered a large area of Scottsdale, saw many beautiful community highlights, with great historical commentary by our guide Tyler. I look forward to my next Segway experience!
Awesome tour, recommend it to all, any age can do it, would definitely do it again. Great way to see Old Town.
we both really enjoyed our tour. Your feet may get a little sore but it was well worth it. I am over 60 and our guide said I was a natural. We will do this again if we ever get a chance.
A great way to see Old Town Scottsdale, especially in the heat! We did this tour in the evening, when the temps were a bit lower. Cameron was a great tour guide ... very knowledgeable and energetic. We all learned a lot about Scottsdale thanks to Cameron! The only downside was that it became dark very early, so it was difficult to see some of the sites. We would highly recommend this tour, and you shouldn't be worried if you've never been on a segway before. There were just enough instructions, and you get an opportunity to practice a bit before heading out. In no time at all, we were all pros! Thanks Cameron for a great evening ... and for showing us Scottsdale's best artwork, The Doors and the LOVE sculpture. We LOVE Old Town Scottsdale! The Ward Family from Hamilton, ON Canada
Cameren was our guide. He was fantastic and enlightened us to all the spots in Scottsdale to go, some History, and his knowledge of the desert keep us entertained as well. It's a lot of fun and they train you well before you get on the Segway, so it's pretty easy and fun! I live in Phoenix, AZ, my sister NY and I would do it again when I have anyone visiting. Thanks for a great time Segway!
My first Segway tour. I was nervous. I'm overweight and thought - oh boy! But it went smoothly. Our guide kept us moving along and I was very very happy that he kept me right by him in case I needed help. He also made sure the other more experienced riders had fun as well. A nice balance no pun intended. I would say - step out of your box and try it!
Best travel tip we ever got- Do a Segway Tour. So much fun! Our tour guide Chris was so chill and calm that all us 1st timers had no reason to be worried. Highlights of shops, restaurants, area history and sights! So worth it- definitely will do again!
This was so much fun, I didn't want it to end!
Chris was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide, he shared Scottsdale history as well as useful information about the area. The Segway was easier to maneuver than I expected, if you can stand, you can Segway.
I definitely recommend this experience/tour. I will do it again the next time I'm in the area!
It was a blast! My parents are in there 60's so I was worried that they would have problems on the segways.
They loved and were naturals.
Jared gave us good training before we got started on our tour and made sure we felt comfortable before leaving the
Jared gave a great tour with some sights and history included.
I would highly recommend this tour. I think my parents enjoyed this part of the trip as much as seeing the grand canyon.
What an experience: wonderful history of Scottsdale, charming quide, and we learned how to ride a Segway! It wasn't nearly as intimidating as I expected, and way more fun. I want to go again today. Jared is a great teacher/coach, he made the f2 hours fly. Terrific adventure for everyone....
Ryan was a great guide. He takes the time to ensure everybody's safety with regards to the operating of the Segway.
He's a native of Scottsdale, so he knows a little more about the town's history which allows him to go more in depth.
This is a real good tour of Scottsdale. Highly recommend it.
We had a group of six, four of whom were beginner Segway riders. Josh did a great job of training us and then within a short time, we were on a way. It was a fun, efficient way to tour Scottsdale and I would do it again.
Wonderful treat, especially the evening tour. Segways are fun to ride. Achieving the skill to ride comes quickly. Our guide was great and the evening simply full of things to learn and lots of fun!
