We thoroughly enjoyed our full day tour of the Perito Moreno Glacier. The guide was knowledgable and accommodating. The driver was skilled and safe. We like walking so we walked most all of the walkways taking in the many awesome views of the glacier. I'm glad we visited in April as I imagine it's very crowded in the park in the summer. The boat ride was fun, but a bit crowded and not entirely necessary given views available from walkways; would skip this portion of tour next time.
The service was excellent from contacting local representative arranging to picking us up from our hotel. Pick up on time great journey to first stop, excellent information from Rep. Boat was great and had long enough to be able to get right up to Glazier and take photos. The park was amazing and great we were able to have enough time for a quick bite to eat then saver the views from this amazing sight on our own.
Beautiful day, well organised and tour guide was awsome. the pace was great! we had enough time to walk on the walkways and the following boat ride was awsome as well! thank you for the great day
Views of the Perito Moreno Glacier are unique as well as among the most beautiful and majestic of the ones I have seen.
Amazing amazing amazing!!! They picked me up at my hotel and they were really really nice. The guide Alejandra was super informative - she explained everything thoroughly in English and Spanish. Unfortunately I didn't see a bag or a jar for tips - and when I was dropped off at my hotel, she disappeared somewhere so I couldn't leave a tip :-/ The boat ride is included in this voucher and takes you up to 200 meters away from what I think was the south face of the glacier. The pasarelas mostly have views of the north face. Make sure you bring ARS 600 in cash to be able to enter the park. Wear a down jacket, gloves, wool socks, and shoes with good traction - the pasarelas are steel and can get very slippery when there's snow/ice/rain. I believe there are mini trekking options as well, but I was too afraid to try that - this tour is ideal for people like me who don't really enjoy the outdoors, but want a brief outdoorsy experience. This glacier is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen in my entire life - I would definitely return to see Spegazzini and Uppsala as well. Highly recommend this tour - especially if you're not in El Calafate for more than a day or two - it's the perfect amount of time.
Nadia was an amazing tour guide, so informative and lovely - she made the day very special and really took the time to speak to all in the group, nothing was too much and at the end of the tour she gave us some chocolates and local liquor. I would definitely recommend this trip, really enjoyed it and learnt so much!
A good trip. The national park have done an excellent job in how easy it is to view the glacier. Good guide and driver.
Such a great tour! Plenty of time to appreciate the glacier - one of the most spectacular scene ever seen on my travels. Excellent driver-guide team, even providing a shot of calafate liqueur! Make sure you bring Argentinian pesos not USD for entrance to park Viator says differently.
Gets the job done. Hands off guide but he let us explore so Ill take it.
I was picked up on the dot at the time Id been given in the morning. The bus journey from El Calafate to the glacier was pretty quick, and our guide was very informative, in both English and Spanish. Both the boat and walkway sections of the visit offered amazing views of the glacier, and provided excellent photo opportunities.
The trip to Perito Moreno was a fantastic day. Our guide spoke excellent English and helped us to make the most of the bus ride, the boat trip on the lake and the walkways along the face of the glacier. It was definitely worth the cost.
It was a great tour. The boat was comfortable and the crew were knowledgeable and friendly. They spent a lot of time at the major spots and it was a perfect time.
We took this tour on 30 Nov 2017. Terrific... absolutely great . We were picked up at our hotel on time and joined a group of English and Spanish speaking guests.. Nadia, the guide was spot-on, extremely pleasant and very informative. We stopped at a couple good viewing/pic locations before taking the boat trip a must! up close to the glacier. We were then taken by road to the other side of the glacier for a walk along boarded track - great views of the glacier from different angles. A wonderful day which we'll remember for the rest of our lives.. We recommend to the tour.
Great tour with a very knowledgeable guide. This is a must see tour when in El Calafate. The glacier was stunningly beautiful and it was nice to be on a group with only a dozen other people rather than a whole bus.
