Traveler pickup is offered
This is not an exhaustive list of hotels we pick-up from. Please indicate let us know the hotel you stay in.
Dinner and show: 7:30pm Show only: 9pm
After hotel pickup, head to the cobblestone streets of San Telmo, the birthplace of tango and the oldest barrio in Buenos Aires. Arrive at a conventillo, a historic tenement restored and now used as a restaurant-theater, where La Ventana takes place.
As you stroll through the theater’s preserved architectural interior, travel back in time to the tango grandeur of the early 1900s. If you’ve opted for dinner, arrive 90 minutes before showtime and dig into a three-course meal featuring a wide array of Argentine and international dishes, accompanied by Argentine wines. See below for a sample menu. Or, if you chose the show-only option, slip into your seat in time for the performance, and enjoy provided wine or soft drinks.
Two tango orchestras and an Argentine folk music group provide live accompaniment to the five smartly costumed couples on stage, who grace the stage with sensuality and breathtaking precision.
Listen to both Spanish and indigenous styles of music from the bands as well as vocalists. Get a glimpse of the gaucho culture, or Argentina’s version of cowboys, through a demonstration of boleadoras, used to wrangle livestock.
After the show closes with a moving tribute to Eva Perón, your driver takes you back to your hotel.

This show couldn't have been better! The dancers were great and the variety and length of
the performance certainly gave you value for the price. I highly recommend it.
Enjoyed the show and the food was much better than expected for this type of venue. That was a pleasant surprise! The space is small so you have a great view. We sat right next to the stage which was fun. Loved having my picture taken with one of the dancers - a top liked personal facebook post.
Excellent show with a great atmosphere. Waiters very professional and attentive and include a bottle of wine. Dancers and musicians were of a very high standard and so entertaining, We weren't given the option of a port pickup which meant a taxi ride to the designated hotel only for the minibus to return to the port for others. Thankfully we were able to get on a different bus at the end which took us straight back to the port!
This was fantastic, professional entertainment.
Be aware, like all of these kinds of shows, you are crammed in pretty tight but was well worth it.
A vert nice evening. In our country, we don't have a chance like that to see a good tango show. On n'a pas la chance tous les jours de voir un aussi bon spectacle de tango.
Nothing to Fault.
Pick up and drop off from the hotel. Well organised venue. Superb 3 course meal perfectly cooked. Show was jammed packed solid with 5 person band, dancing, local drummers, etc
Well worth it and good value
An excellent tango and gaucho music show , the visual and performance of the lady who sang Don't cry for me Argentina was spectacular and memorable. Food was plentiful and tasty
Excellent evening spent at the Tango Show, dinner with wine was great, they transport to and from the venue clockwork and the show itself enthralling and outstanding. Good value for money we thought as well.
The show was outstanding. It was more than just a Tango show with dinner. It was a cultural immersion. The food was excellent. WOW! The only issue was we were late being picked up, the dinner was a little late in coming and the show start before we finished dinner.
Fabulous dinner show with a variety of tango dancing, music, and singing. The dinner was very good and served with a bottle of wine. The only problem was the pick up at hotels is very unorganized and they need to improve time notification.
Great Tango show ! The singers and dancers were first class, very enjoyable !
Transportation was a bit iffy. We were told 8:30 whereas everyone else seemed to be told 9pm. After 40 minute wait we were ready to go back to room but thankfully we didn't show starts at 10 btw. Also you need to ring up to confirm that you required transportation, not easy when you have no phone. Organisation of transport after show was pretty good though.
What an amazing show though, loved every second of it !! A masterclass in Argentine Tango 50 of show , and a superb taste of South America for the remaining 50. We saw another show while in BA but for me this was head and shoulders above. Just Superb !
Bravo La Ventana !!!
This was a great show full of very talented dancers, musicians and vocalists. The setting is a beautiful period venue with excellent lighting and sound rigs. I didn't have the food but a very kind Mexican chap I sat next to shared some of his steak and it tasted exquisite. You can sit for an hour to relax and drink as much red wine or soft drinks as you like on arrival. It is central Buenos Aires so no long slog to get there. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The show lasts over an hour and is full of beautiful songs, dances and a diverse array of talented performers. I loved it and although you are not permitted to take photos during the show understandably You can have your photo taken afterwards and chat to the performers. Highly recommended for authentic Argentinian entertainment.!!
