Señor Tango show, created by Fernando Soler, a national tango singer sensation.
Soler renovated the former general store started by Italian immigrants at the turn of the century into the restaurant-theater you see today, retaining its classical structural elements.
Admire the vaulted ceiling, iron columns and quebracho redwood brick floors.
With more than 43,000 square feet (4,000 square meters) of space, the elegant theater has been coined by locals as ‘the Cathedral of Tango.’
If you’ve opted for dinner, arrive an hour before showtime and dig into a three-course meal featuring Argentine and international dishes, accompanied by Argentine wine. If you chose the show-only option, settle into your seat in time for the 2-hour performance.
Be prepared for a glamorous and outrageous show, boasting 40 artists and live horses. Nine pairs of dancers in sleek and slinky outfits move in steamy embraces across the stage. Depending on the night, Fernando Soler himself may come out and provide a soul-stirring rendition of his popular songs.
The show draws to a close with a grand finale dedicated to Eva Perón. With ‘Don’t Cry for Me, Argentina’ lingering in your thoughts, enjoy transport back to your hotel.

From the time of pickup to drop off we were treated to a very professional and enjoyable evening. The venue was delightful the meal excellent and the show different to one we had seen last year. This one was more historical ( including horses) and certainly the finale showed the great spirit of Argentinian nationalism we left felling glad to have been part of the experience.
My husband's scooter could not be accommodated on the bus ..viator sent a private taxi. We both enjoyed this spectacular show...it was an amazing production...well worth it!!
Amazing Tango performance and decent food ! And at a historical setting ! Don't miss !
I was pleased that the driver arrived on time. The dinner was delicious and well worth the money. My husband raved about his steak. The Tango dancers were wonderful and if you like special effects, you'll like this show. The only problem I found is that the show is too long and there is no English spoken in the show, however it's not hard to figure out what is going on. The waiters and the driver spoke very little English but are friendly and polite.
Very highly recommended. This had to be the very best Tango show in Buenos Aires. The dancers were fabulous, the singers great and the musicians were extraordinary. We would see this show again in a heartbeat. We were even told by an Argentine Tango Dancer doing shows onboard our cruise ship and quite familiar with the Tango Shows in Buenos Aires that Senor Tango is probably the best Tango Show in Buenos Aires.
Great Tango show and great wine selection! Really enjoyed my evening at Señor Tango
We went for the show only. The show is very high energy. The Tango dancers do an amazing job. Just perfect. We don't speak Spanish and everyone who speaks to the audience speaks Spanish only. The owner has a beautiful singing voice and he is in the show for quite a while. I think he could have dialed back the length of time he was on stage singing. We would have preferred to see more dancing.
If you want to see the true Tango, this is the place.
The show itself was superb. Great music and coreography. However, we had a problem with the driver of our bus. The guy was pretty rude when we asked him to help us to get through a large portion of water in the street caused by a heavy rain to reach the bus. He didn't want to help us AT ALL.
The tango show was simply awe inspiring, colourful with number of dances and songs. The live orchestra did a fantastic job. I did not take dinner over there as the timing before the show did not suit us. This was one of the best classical shows I have seen and it will remain in my memory for a long time.
I was so excited to see this show! The ONLY down side I would say is that we paid for a tango show but there is quite a lot of singing..... rather more than was enough to be honest. We wanted to see dancing, not singing. That said, the dancing and show overall was fantastic, and the horses at the beginning of the tango story were brilliant!!!
Good variety show i.e various tango choreographies, singing and band music. Level of dancing and singing could be better. Overall good experience considering the price.
I loved the tango dancing performances! They were amazing and the one performance where the dancers were lifted off of the dance floor by wires flying around the room was great. The part of the show that I thought was tedious and unnecessary was the singing. I understand that the dancers needed time to change and catch their breath but there was a part of the show where the male singer sang 5-7 songs in a row. He had a good voice but the songs were okay and everything was in Spanish so I didn't understand a word he said. He had long dialogues of conversation. I would much rather have a shorter show with less singing.
