Excellent. The tour guide is very knowledgeable and informative. It's good value for money tour. Will do it again.
We had a fantastic bike trip with our wonderful guide. We saw so many sights and got to see lots of the city. We were lucky to have a small group of just two of us. Our favorite parts were seeing the Port, the nature area and La Boca.Being on a bike means you get to see so much more. The tour lasted 5 hours! And we loved every minute of it, even trying to dodge the traffic lol.
Suffice to say if you have seen my other post then you know what happened. I was unable to do this ride, but the guide nicely allowed us to move the day and time, but alas we could not. I would recommend the tour even if it was just because they were so nice!
We loved the guide and we thought it was an amazing experience! The best here in Argentina.
The tour was excellent - Alex was a great guide and the ride was both interesting and relatively easy. It's mainly in bike lanes and our group size was small.
We stopped off at all the important sights in south Buenos Aires and the meeting point is handily in the middle of the city.
The half-day bike tour was an amazing experience. You ride in, out, and across the most famous and known sites in the Argentine Capital. The tour starts off in the San Martin Plaza where the tour guide introduces himself and makes sure everyone feels comfortable on their bikes. He then gives highlights of what to expect on the tour and also the best practices of riding a bike in Buenos Aires.
The tour takes you to the most important sites Plazas, San Telmo, Puerto Madero, Boca, President's Quarters, etc. and the guide gives you background on history, culture, geography, etc. The way it works is that you bike to the different sites and then in each one of them, you stop and receive the important notes about each site. I was fortunate enough to go when it was cold in the city because I was the only one in my tour and it was personalized to what I wanted to see. On top of this, I could ask any questions, etc. and then guide would also take pictures without making anyone wait. Lastly, in La Boca a neighborhood famous for its soccer team and the Tango you get 30 minutes to walk around and enjoy the streets at your own pace before reconvening to continue the tour also a nice break in between the four hours you are riding.
The only blemish was that the tour started 45 minutes after it was scheduled because the morning tour started late and this caused a snowball effect for the day's activities. On another note, make sure you are comfortable riding a bike within a city. You may ride in the street, next to cars at times nothing an average adult can't handle. Also, the guide is very good on waiting for you, making the car stop for you to cross, etc.
Overall, the experience was amazing! I highly recommend this tour. If you think of going, make sure you call ahead and get Mariano to give you the tour. Great guy -I highly recommend him.
This tour was amazing! Alex was a wonderful guide and we had so much fun learning about the history of Buenos Aires and riding through the city. We took the south tour of the city and would do this tour again for the north side. This tour is well worth it!!!
We enjoyed this tour very much. It was long enough to cover many interesting parts of the city yet was not tiring. Our guide provided us with lots of commentaries. We would never see that much of the city without taking this tour. Highly recommend.
Excellent half day bike tour which was very informative and a great way to get to know that part of the city. Also felt surprisingly safe considering at times we were off the cycle paths.
Excelent way to see BA. Very helpful guide who gave us lots of insights to the history.
I was the only one on this tour so had personalised attention. Was a great way to get a feel for the city, learn some if it's history and visit the different areas, especially as I had arrived in the dark the previous day.
I had a great tour with Alex. He really knew his history and was really accommodating. The bikes were comfortable. Would highly recommend this as a 1st or 2nd day venture to get the lay of the land.
