Stop At: Quebrada de San Lorenzo, San Lorenzo 4400 Argentina
This circuit departs from San Lorenzo, a village located on the foothills of the Andes, which are known as Precordillera or Cordillera. Here you will find one of the most extraordinary ecosystems of northwestern Argentina, called yungas (a jungle that grows in the mountains). This circuit includes many trails crossed by streams and rivers.
Duration: 3 hours
Stop At: Campo quijano, Ruta Nacional 51, Campo Quijano, Salta, Argentina
This option begins in the village of Campo Quijano, known as 'The Andes Portal,' in the area of Quebrada del Toro (Bull's Gorge). The circuit runs through the first part of the gorge, an area with deep canyons and lush vegetation. Cross a 130-foot-high (40-meter) bridge in order to get to a beautiful waterfall called Chorro Azul, a fantastic resting spot to relax and regain energy before continuing on to the second part of the circuit — a 4-mile (6-km) downhill trail.
