You will find your tour guide outside the beautiful building of the old Customs House of the city, this being a characteristic symbol of its history, since, from its beginnings, Rosario owes its full development to the cereal trade carried out through the waters of the the Paraná River.
From this moment until the end, your guide will comment on different topics related to history, culture, nature, and art along with surprising and heartbreaking stories of outstanding characters. You will be amazed as your guide also points out some lesser known but equally fascinating sites.
You will know the details of the curious "foundation" of the city and the origins of its name and its relationship with Our Lady of the Rosary. Raising your gaze to the walls of various buildings you will appreciate the most important paintings of local art reproduced on a large scale at what is known as the "Arte a la Vista" Urban Museum.
Surely you know the story of one of the most famous characters in the history of communism, Che Guevara. In this tour, you will see the place where he was born and lived the first 3 months of his life. You will also be told stories related to the military dictatorship of the 70’s (one of the bloodiest in Latin America) and the economic crisis of 2001.
The next part of the tour is to visit the beautiful and well-kept parks and natural areas located on the coast of the city. Here you will see the old railway building, fishing clubs, beautiful restaurants and craftsmen fairs, accompanied by lush trees and the relaxing landscape of the river.
After a two-hour hike, the tour ends at the imposing National Flag Memorial, where the interesting history of its construction and the perfect occasion to take your photo behind this beautiful building await you.
