Hi, I had ordered both Brazil side and Argentina side. Argentina's side is ok because of transport and border. When it comes to Brazil side if you live on Brazil side there is no need for a guide. The guide runs to the park and meets you after 2 hours at the entrance. The guide does not join the tour. Everything in the park does your own. you can do it yourself. by bus or taxi. entrance ticket of 64 brl. The guide recommends birds park for 60 brl. You can do it yourself without a guide. entrance ticket is 45 brl. Bird park is about 200 meters away from the national park. The company wants to make money every trip extra. but things can be done by yourself. bus costs about 4 brl. to the park.
The guide was excellent and the views breathtaking, definitely worth it!
This was my first ever viator tour, but Airton was a great guide. He knew all about the park and the area, and I was on the only one there so it was like having a private guide. The falls are also spectacular and a must see!
The waterfalls were excellent, and the guide and taxi transport were excellent too!
Tour was not as advertised. It says 4 hours or so, it ended up being 8 due to being put in a group with other tour.
This is a religious experience for waterfall lovers.
The park can be reached by local busses from Foz do Iguacu, but the tour is not expensive.
Note that the park fee 57.30 reals must be paid separately, anyways.
It does include transportation to viewpoints by bus.
The Brazilian side includes shorter, wetter waterfall trails getting more inside the Falls.
You get close enough to see the swifts fly through the Falls to their nests behind the chutes.
Niagara is still beautiful, but we were awestruck here.
We didn't enter the Argentinian side, but didn't regret staying on the Brazilian side, as soon as our friends who entered both Argentinian and Brazilian sides told us that the Brazilian side had better views over all falls main and minors. Anyway, it's not worth visiting both sides for more money and time!
