Located in the countryside of Rio state, the coffee valley is one of those places that takes you back to the past, known for its country coffee farms dating as far back as the nineteenth century. “City of Serenades” is a must-go destination for those into good music, history, nature and simply relaxing. Part of the Coffee Valley, a region concentrating some of the most important coffee farms that are centuries years old, the region stands out as a precious heritage site and is characterized by well preserved colonial architecture.

Back in 19th century, when Brazil was the number 1 coffee producer this region produced coffee and exported to the whole world.

Your tour begins with your hotel pick up and we leave Rio de Janeiro city and head to coffee valey about to visit the coffee farm. This region is far from the city and might take 2 hours.

This is a guided visit with a professional tour guide

In this tour will get a chance to experience the authentic brasilian coffee, get to know coffee museum  and coffer history and curiosity’s about the region.

The farm preserves it’s original colonial style and, it belonged to the famous earls from the yore during imperial times

The tour offers visit to the main house, the coffee museum, slavery memorial,  chapel, Cachaçaria ( “Cachaça beverage house” )

The visit also offer ( as optional ) an amazing colonial breakfast and/ or colonial lunch.

This is one of the best tours to get to know brazil's culture back in time.
