Nothing but praise for this trip. It was a nightmare getting off the boat and they waited for me for an hour.
Trip was everything as advertised ,guide good English
Darla was your guide and Manuel the driver. On time in every place, Darla is an excellent guide.
She knows the places, the history and takes full control of her group. The places visited were above expectations and Viator has a great partner in GV Tours. Congrats.
A great day trip off the cruise with some walking in the National Park, lovely waterfalls, green lagoon with stunning reflections. We beat the crowd so very quiet. Amazing volcano ancient lava and ash heaps from eruption 4 years ago
After a rather chaotic start at the port (no list of names, tickets not checked) we had a very good day with an excellent guide, Darla, who tailored the trip to the weather and we had longer than scheduled. Petrohue Waterfalls were pretty with turquoise water and Puerto Varas was an interesting town. Would have appreciated a little more time here. At Frutillar, whilst enjoying coffee and cake at this German like town, we were lucky to see the snow topped Osorno suddenly pop out from the cloud. A perfect end to a lovely day.
Our guide Annie was fantastic, everything was as described, brilliant day out, back to the ship in plenty of time!
This was an excellent all-day private tour for us. We had an extremely professional and knowledgeable guide in Juan. And the tour provider, GV Tours quickly modified one of the original tour destinations the day prior in order to prevent overlap in our experiences in Los Lagos, by substituting a destination which we had not yet viewed. It was a fabulous day in an absolutely beautiful region in Patagonia. Juan's English is excellent and he was enthusiastic and engaging in his descriptions of the many sites and local lore throughout the tour. A five star experience in all regards. Thank you.
The tour was EXCELLENT! Puerto Montt was one of the ports we visited while on a cruise and we got there 6 hours later than expected and our port time was also cut back. It was also raining that day. The guide I'm sorry I can not remember her name was WONDERFUL. And the driver was amazing. We got to see the Waterfalls, Puerto Varas and Frutillar. The empanadas that were served were delicious and the wine was so wonderful. All in all this tour was great and I'm so happy we booked this tour.
Victoria did a fantastic job during our day tour of Puerto Varas, Petrohúe and Frutillar. We had a beautiful sunny day so we had amazing views of Osorno! She was extremely knowledgeable about each place we visited and did her best to make sure we had a great experience! Highly recommend!!
This tour was excellent. We were visiting from a ship and only had the one day to enjoy Pueto Montt. A very good way to see the lovely sites around the Puerto Montt area. The guide was good, the weather was changable but didn't stop us from seeing everything. Unable to see the snow capped top of the volcano due to low clowd Enjoyed this trip enormously.
The waterfalls and volcanoes were simply beautiful! Frutillar was a cute little town, where we had a light lunch and walked along the beautiful waterfront.
We had a really great trip A very comfortable coach van with a small group, a good guide, and perfect weather. The tour guide and driver arranged the order of the excursion so we were ahead of the crowd to see Petrohue waterfall and the Osorno volcano, which was a huge plus. The other two spots on the tour were also extremely enjoyable. I would highly recommend this excursion.
We arrived by cruise ship an hour later than expected. Then, the tendering process from ship to shore was a real mess! So we arrived almost 2 hours lateyet, the tour bus had waited! We were impressed. The tour was very goodsame tour we could have booked through the cruise, but at a much lower price. Our guide was excellenther English was superb. One special perk was the excellent empanadas and wine served on the busthis was billed as a snack, but actually made a nice lunch. Highly recommend this tour.
This was an outstanding day- Outstanding sites, outstanding guide, and outstanding tour. there were just six of us in a nice mini bus perfect for personalized service. Our guide was the daughter of the owners and had lived in Oregon for many years. She provided excellent information on the sites visited as well as great shopping tips. We thoroughly enjoyed- Highly recommended
A Great tour taking in the volcanoes, rapids and the sights of two towns on the Lake. Victoria, our guide and her driver, were very informative and flexible. We could not have had a better way to spend a day in Puerto Montte area. Highly recommended.
Our guide Klaus was an absolute delight. From the moment he picked us up, he was cheerful and welcoming, providing an excellent overview of the area with absolutely perfect English. We managed to fit in the three different sites compared with trips from the cruise ship that only fit in two in the same timeframe. At each stop we had adequate time to explore on our own. A quick snack and glass or two of wine along the way helped to build camaraderie between the group. Frutillar was a highlight, with lots of locals and South American tourists out enjoying the sunshine on the volcanic sand on the shore of the lake. Both Frutillar and Puerto Varas had a great vibe. Mount Osorno was stunning but it was a perfect sunny day
First and foremost the guide was the most delightful young lady! She was so very knowledgeable! She spoke perfect english and spanish. She was so personable and funny we had a new life long friend! The guide can make or break the experience! Spending the day with someone like her, from GV Tours, makes it a memorable sweet event! The lakes, the volcano, the waterfall ...all spectacular to see. The entire Patagonia area is once in alifetime, must not be missed gorgeous and fascinating. Learning the history or the people and the land formation is really interesting! We advise everyone use GV Tours! The best we have had!
Great value for the money. The only thing we didn't like about this shore excursion is that they did not have a cancellation policy. Once you paid, there were no refunds. This policy should be reviewed by the tour supplier since many things can come up when you book a popular tour over two months in advance.
There is plenty to see and do on this trip. The Petrohue Waterfalls are magnificent and the views of the Osorno Volcano, if you are lucky enough to see it, are most impressive. The trip we took included a walk around the Puerto Montt market, a bus tour of Puerto Montt, a walk around the Green Lake in Vicenta Perez Rosales National Park, a visit to a llama farm and visits to both Puerto Varas and Frutillar Chile in the lake district.
Lunch included a large beef empanada and wine.
The tour and the guide were outstanding. Beautiful sites and views of volcanoes. The tour was definitely worth the price which was very reasonable. Many thanks to our guide who helped us make our tour and get on our Princess Cruise.
Surprised by the negative reviews, this was a great tour and Victoria was a great guide. We were on a cruise and this was half the price the cruise charged and smaller group 24 on a coach
We were lucky to have such lovely weather and had clear views of the volcanos, beautiful scenery. Nice snack and glass of wine.
I would recommend this tour to everyone.
