If you are in this part of Chile, don't miss Valparaiso and Vina del Mar(which is far less well known) The hills of Valparaiso, and the house paintings are like no other place. And Vina del Mar is an interesting opposite. Don't miss the Flower Clock and the original statue from Easter Island. My complaints about this particular tour: We were ushered into a restaurant at Vina del Mar where the guides ate for nothing. It would have been far better if we were taken to an area with a selection of restaurants and been able to make a choice. Also, this tour gets tourists from all over the city (without using a central meeting place), and as a result we spent an inordinate amount of time picking up and returning fellow tour members to their hotels. The trip through Santiago took an hour and a half, coupled with the guide playing an unfortunate choice of music over the speaker system. She also displayed several dance moves. Thoroughly unprofessional!

Valparaiso and Vina del Mar are must see places when you are in Chile. Tour guide was great, funny and knowledgeable. We had amazing lunch at our own expense at a restaurant right on the ocean and it was worth any money! Food was perfect! Very well organized tour with time to take pictures and small groups.

Excellent tour. We had great views of Valparaiso and Vina del Mar and a closer look from street level. On time pick up at hotel. Comfortable vehicle, Angelica was a very knowledgeable and outgoing guide. The trip back takes some time but lots of interesting sights or good for a nap.

This was a great day trip and we were very glad we decided to do it. There were seven of us on the tour and we were picked up at our hotel in Santiago. All along the way the tour guide gave us good information. She could answer our questions and knew all about the area. The best part was that they knew exactly where to take us in Valparaiso for the best walking tour! We walked through the upper neighborhoods, on the most interesting streets. Great views, murals on the walls, colorful buildings- it was all better than we had thought. We ended the walk down at the waterfront, where we then drove to Vina del Mar. There we had lunch right at the ocean and had time to go out on the beach. Both the tour guide and driver were excellent!

The guide was informative and was happy to answer questions and to quickly google anything he didn't know. Both he and the driver were very friendly and courteous. We were a small group so travelled in a comfortable minibus. We visited three good viewpoints in the hills overlooking Valparaiso port and enjoyed our short walk amongst both colourful and historic houses. The comfort stops going and returning gave the opportunity to purchase local goods including wine and delicious empanadas. Lunch was in a very good restaurant across the road from the sea. Other choices were available as well.

It was amazing, the highlight was the flower clock. Would recommend though that guests has the opportunity to choose their own option of where to have lunch. The guide must also be very specific on time allocations, otherwise great expierence thank you

Our guide was amazing! His name was Rodrigo. He is very funny and active. We went to Valparaíso in one day with a lot of smog, but when we went to Viña del Mar the sun came and the beach was very beautiful. We didn't like the restaurant, the food was expensive and they gave us a wrong password to the internet. We have just ate there because we liked Rodrigo. Our driver was Rodolfo and he was very nice too. Someone told us that was a lot of sea lion there, but we didn't see them...

Our guide Jaime is wonderful and attentive. This is a great value tour. The only thing I wish is we could spend a little more time in Valparaiso, everything else is great.

A great visit with a great guide tour. It was bad that it was cloudy and close the place where it is the festival. It worth that you can request before offer the places. The car arrive 30 minutes later.

We had an excellent guide. However, 90 of the tourists were Spanish speakers and we English speakers got less information. Valparaiso and Vina de Mar are well with visiting. Both are cities with rich histories and many fascinating places where we toured on foot.
We recommend this tour.

This was a very pleasant day and the guide led us to a restaurant with a wonderful view in Valparaiso lunch at own cost. The funicular ride promised to be very interesting but after waiting for quite a while for our turn, we got in and traveled about 40 metres when it stopped. Eventually the funicular returned to its starting point and we were let out. It broke and was subsequently shut down for the day. I would have loved to spend more time exploring the street art.

Good price, good, friendly, well-informed guide taking the customers interest into account during the tour. Well-planned tour with good restaurant and even good places for toilet breaks during the trip. Only thing negative was that the tour did not include time to actually enter the Neruda museum which is worth doing.
