The coastal cities of Valparaíso and Viña del Mar are located only 120 kilometers from Santiago. The trip to them takes you through the Central Valley which is famous for its wines, fruits, and cheeses.
Valparaíso, declared by UNESCO as World Heritage, is one of the main ports of Chile, which through its spontaneous architecture -constructed on hills- shows one of the most culturally active cities in Chile.
For its part, Viña del Mar, which in its beginnings was a land of vineyards, today is the most important resort in Chile.

I booked this because all the other tours on the site require at least 2 people.. which is ridiculous because this tour had a ton of people.
You will spend 80 of your time on the bus.. seeing things via the bus. And when you get off the bus you will have literally 5 minutes to get off..see the thing and get back on. The description is really misleading because you will see most of the town via the bus and be forced to take pictures through the window of the bus.
The recommended lunch at your own expense was decent, buffet style at a casino where it was all you could eat...you had about an hour to eat once we got in there and was able to spend 20 minutes walking the boardwalk before we had to get back on the bus.
I wanted a walking tour. This is not that tour. if I had someone with me I would have booked something else.
