It’s a profound and emotional story that addresses the main events that led to the coup d’état of September 11, 1973, in Chile, chronologically reconstructing the facts that occurred that day. We will relive the effervescence caused by the triumph of Salvador Allende, the first democratically elected socialist ruler in history, and the complex and chaotic years of his government. We will discover the details of one of the most emblematic betrayals in history, and the consequences of the military dictatorship led by Augusto Pinochet. This is the first carbon neutral tourist experience in Chile.

Meeting point and the start of our experience, where we will introduce the team, give information about the tour and general indications.

Stop At: Ex Congreso Nacional, Compania y Catedral, Santiago Chile

We will delve into the atmosphere and popular sentiment of Chile in the late 60s and early 70s. We will relive the social effervescence and expectations generated by the triumph of Salvador Allende, the first democratically elected socialist ruler in history.

Stop At: Espacio M, Compania de Jesus 1230, Santiago Chile

We will discover the role of United States and the Soviet Union during the times of the Popular Unity. We will project the social polarization and the "trench journalism" exercised by the media through different newspapers covers, magazines and cartoons of the time.

Stop At: Plaza de La Constitucion, Moneda and Morande, Santiago 8340503 Chile

We will look back on the days before the coup d'état and the backroom of one of the most emblematic betrayals in history. We will chronologically relive the events that took place on September 11, which will mark a before and after in the history of Chile.

We will recharge energies with a coffee break, where we will visit a store that offers a wide variety of local products that come from family work from rural hands throughout the country.

We will learn the outcome of the day of the coup d'état in what would be the last moments of the Popular Unity government and the first ones of the military dictatorship, going through the story of the controversial door through which the lifeless body of Salvador Allende left the building.

We will be taken aback by the traces still visible in the buildings near the Palacio de la Moneda, from what was the day of the coup d'état.

We will reconstruct the story of London 38 as a center for clandestine detention, torture and extermination, and reflect on the causes and consequences of the coup d'état in our society.
