Later you will go to Concha y Toro vineyards. Visitors will gladly be received in Don Melchor Square by a guide inviting you to enjoy the panoramic view accompanied by a glass of wine. Remarkable place where the major wines company in our country emerged more than 100 years ago.
In the Pirque vineyards you´ll be informed with videos, technological and cultural management which stand for a first quality industrial output.

I would definitely not recommend this trip. It was suppose to be a group tour but it was just us and we only got to get out of the car twice the entire day. For a city tour and based on the description Viator had when I selected this tour we should have been walking around the city center, learning about the history of the city not driving through expensive neighborhoods or going to residential areas with nothing open. I would have expected that maybe if this was a highlights tour or there were a large group but with two people and the driver/tourguide I expected more. Basically we had to do get to know the city on our own. The only highlight was Concha y Toro and their guided tour and wine tasting.
Excelente!
The city tour and Concha y Toro visit were everything I had expected. When I booked the tour I thought it included lunch but the tour guide from ruta chile said no,so we had to pay for it.The lunch was excellent but quite expensive .
This was a really excellent trip. We were collected from our hotel on time and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The city tour went well and we particularly enjoyed the views from Santa Lucia Hill. Our time spent in and around the Plaza de Armas in Santiago was interesting and gave us time to visit the cathedral and post office.. At lunchtime we were taken to a tourist restaurant, which was able to seat a large number of guests, but fortunately it was VERY quiet for our visit.
The visit to the winery was interesting, paced well and included several tastings. It was a nice touch to each receive the wine glass which we used for the tastings as a gift.
Very interesting tour of the city and the vinyards. Our English speaking guide was clear and easy to understand. I wish we could have gotten there an hour before our scheduled tour because there is a great looking restaurant on the grounds and the food looked delicious. It would have been nice to have had time to grab a bite.
My only complaint is that we did ask for an English speaking driver, but he spoke no English at all. And my Spanish was too limited for us to communicate. Luckily there was another guest on our tour who was able to translate for us.
City tour with Jaime was fabulous. Winery tour was great. Wine served was not very good...sour.
Would have enjoyed spending more time seeing the process of making the wine. Allowing us to taste the variations of grapes right off the vine was a treat!
We took this tour on a Sunday which was a great day for sightseeing as the roads were quiet.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and showed us all the sights and more. We stopped for a great lunch in the market recommended by our guide.
There were only four of us for the afternoon tour of the vineyard was also good. This included wine tasting where we were allowed to take the glasses home with us. We all bought wine which was good quality and at a good price.
