Valparaiso, Spanish for Paradise Valley, is a cultural hotspot that serves as one of the country’s most important seaports. The entire city is recognized as an UNESCO World Heritage Site for its intriguing cobblestone labyrinth of streets, historic buildings, and ancient funiculars along steeply sloping hills.
From the 21 de Mayo lookout, you'll enjoy spectacular panoramic view of the city and harbor. Your guide will point out some of the more interesting sights and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Next, you'll visit the garden city, Viña del Mar, home to the most-visited beach on Chile’s central coast. The city boasts beautiful parks and gardens, and miles of sparkling beaches.

Good, no much time to see everything but very nice guy and good trip. Thank you
A good first visit to Valparaiso and Vina del Mar to see the main sights - with time to plant your toes on a sandy Pacific beach, view various monuments, and partake of the fine views particularly when we stopped at Pablo Neruda's House. The group's mixed language needs were not a problem as the guide moved from one language to another with ease, so I never felt left out of the conversation. And a great recovery from a flat tire right before lunch time we picked up a spike on the highway from Santiago, so we were able to keep to schedule.
The guide was very knowledgeable and had to provide both English and Spanish comments. Would of loved to seen the trains but not on the agenda. It would of also been great if we had choice for lunch. Lovely views but very expensive. I paid 35 Australian dollars for fish and chips and a drink. You need to be given choice for lunch.
We were disappointed at the brief amount of time spent in Valparaiso. We would have preferred more time there and less in Via Del Mar. The drive back was in very heavy stop and go traffic. It took an hour to go about 5 km in Santiago..
The tour was fantastic ! The guide was well preprared, transportation always on time and special thanks to Carolina, the guide at this tour.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour to Vina del Mar and Valparaiso. Our tour leader was punctual, polite, knowledgeable and very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The lunch was very good in a wonderful setting. It is a tour that I would recommend to anyone.
Was really disappointed with this tour. We ended up with Grayline.
Basically the tour went from one tourist trap to the next. Limited overview of where we were going and barely stopped to get pics. Could not believe how weak it was. Everyone on the tour was really disappointed. VIATOR - you need to remove Grayline from the list. It was really bad.
Also we ended up stopping at a restaurant for lunch that cost our family of 4 almost 100 USD....seriously?? We would have been better off being dropped in the city to walk around and eat lunch on our own.
If you're in Valparaíso to see the Ascensor see tour pic and the colourful UNESCO neighbourhood, then this tour is not for you. To be truthful, this tour took us to the city sights of Valparaíso with a drive up to the upper levels and views of the city, but no time was given to ride the Ascensor nor to walk around the colourful neighbourhood. Otherwise still a great tour to the sights of Viña del Mar and an unique spot for lunch with great seafood!
