Overview Overview

The El Yeso reservoir is located in the interior of the so-called Cajón del Maipo. This dam was built for ten years, inaugurated in 1964, has a capacity of 253 million cubic meters, being the main source of drinking water supply in Santiago. Its turquoise waters and the wonderful Andes mountains as a backdrop are part of the landscape that you can enjoy on this trip.
Itinerary Full day 8 Hours approx. 06:30 - 07:30 Retreat from Hotel 08:30: Visit Pueblo San José de Maipo. Tunnel Tinoco, mythical railway tunnel that joined high bridge with the Volcano. I jump the Yeso. Reservoir plaster, wine tasting and cold table. Return from El Yeso Reservoir. 16:30 Approximate return to Hotel
