The tour was incredible and our guide Victor was very knowledgeable about every part He related to everyone on the tour and made the trip fun and exciting .
Our driver was super safe the vehicle was clean and had plenty of room for everyone.
The tour started after picking everyone up at the ruins. Victor was able to explain the history behind each thing we saw and we had time to walk around on our own. We went to the cenotes and first toured the dry Cenote then swam in the other one before having an authentic Mexican lunch in the beautiful jungle setting. We finished the daywith a snorkel in the lagoon where we saw amazing beautiful fish and marine life.
We also had a professional photographer join us along the way. He was able to capture shots we would never have gotten on her own making for some great memories we can share with family.
If you take any Tour on the Riviera Maya make it this one and ask for Victor he made the trip memorable knowledgeable and fun!
This excursion was amazing, pickup was on time and pleasantly greeted by Pepe who was a great guy. He was very caring, funny and informative. We felt comfortable and looked after throughout the whole trip. The driver (I think his name was George) was a great guy also, he looked after our belongings in the bus while we were out and about, so we didn’t have to carry everything. He also made sure we all had the right safety equipment for water activities. Tulum ruins were great and learned a lot from Pepe, it was busy but that’s normal. reef snorkelling was great and well organised. The people involved made us feel safe. The photographer was a great guy also ( I think his name was Jose) he took some great pics that we purchased at the end. We managed to see a lot of fish and even some big rays. The lunch was nice and relaxed with plenty of shade. The final part of the day was the cenote swim and caves which was amazing. a walk through a cave then into a fresh water cenote to swim through another cave system.
Great adventure, great company, highly recommend.
Booked online in advance and wasnt sure what to expect . Was super happy with the experience and our guide Alex was awesome . She was super helpful and knowledgeable of the area . It was my girlfriends first snorkeling experience and Alex made sure she was at ease in the water and was comfortable in the water. We were thankful for the snacks and tasty lunch which was provided. The tour offered pickup and dropoff at our hotel which was handy . All in all it was a pretty awesome day ,so Thanks to Alex and the crew !
Amazing tour, our guide Pepe, the driver and photographer went above and beyond to assure our experience throughout the way was unforgettable. Pepe has an incredible amount of knowledge and was able to point out the history, and pertinent information on every place we visited taking us back to how it all started, what has happened since then and where we are now.
This is my second time taking this tour and it was a wonderful surprise to visit two different cenotes than on my first trip. This is wonderful way to explore the biodiversity of Cancun. A trip you will not regret!
The group size was not to big. The guides were great. Very knowledgeable. Swimming in the Cenotes was the best experience ever. Water, snacks and Mayan lunch was plentiful. Would do this tour again.
Great tour and value for the money. Our tour guide, Pepe, was awesome. Didn’t just tell us about everything but interacted with everyone. Very friendly and funny. Would recommend to anyone visiting this area.
We had a small group of 12 people on 12/28/2018. It was wonderful and better than we expected, especially our tour guide Mr. Stefan. He was very knowledgeable and very thorough with the organization of the tour. He took care of all of us. We had a good visit to the Tulum Ruins and we had fun snorkeling two times. We would definitely like to tour again with Ocean Tours Mexico.
This tour was AWESOME! Our tour guide was Luis and he went above and beyond to give us information and connect with my group for an all day epic adventure! He snorkeled with us, showed us the ruins, and had a photographer taking photos of our entire day. My favorite part was snorkeling inside the cenote!! The tour was intimate experience and I recommend this to anyone visiting the Cancun area looking for a day of adventure! Must be able to swim though :)
We were picked up on time from our hotel and amount of time spent at each portion of the excursion was just right. Our tour guide, Macarena, was attentive and full of interesting information. The cenote swim was magical and our favorite part of the day, but really, every portion was wonderful! If you have any hesitation about booking this trip, put it aside and go!
Keep in mind that the though the tour itself was 6 hours, transportation to and from added another couple hours.
Macarena was our tour operator, she was very kind, knowledgable, and accommodating! Everything was really organized and ran so smoothly, it was incredible. The only part I would warn is the quoted timeline after transport ends up being much longer, not a problem as this day is packed with fun and adventure. Macarena was really good at getting the group involved in the activities and everyone talking with each other too, top notch guide she was fantastic!
Our tour guide, J.P. was fun, friendly, knowledgeable, respectful, and clearly passionate about the tour and the sites we visited. Our day was filled with meaningful activities, with enough down time to make things relaxing and enjoyable, and no time wasted on souvenir shops and the like. Highly recommend this tour.
A great outing for our family of 5. A great mix of culture, adventure and flora and fauna. Our guide Pepe was awesome!! He was passionate about each part of our day. Snorkeling in the rain was fantastic saw two different turtles. The highlight was the cenotes- truly magical. Something that is so unique to this area The trip was well organized. They provide everything from water to food to equipment. We met a wonderful family from Canada which made the trip so much fun. Highly recommend.
My friend and I had a great time on this tour with our guide Mariano. We loved the variety and amount of activities- you definitely get a long of bang for your buck. Highly recommended!
My friends and I did this excursion led by Fernando with David as our driver and Karla as our photographer. Overall this was the highlight of our visit in Cancun, they provided us with snacks, a great time together, and an unforgettable experience. The transportation was smooth and on time, we arrived at the Tulum ruins and Fernando explained everything in great detail. During the snorkeling part, some of us had some fears going in the water but there were plenty of other people to help us out if we didn't feel great about the water. The lunch wasn't that great but the cenote was incredible. I would recommend this to anyone!
This tour was awesome!! The tour guide, Joaquin, was class! Very knowledgeable and personable with a great sense of humor. Would highly recommend this tour!
My first time leaving comments on viator . I had a very very good time .BETTY is sooooooo knowledgeable with great passion for archaeology. Great snorkling and cenote swimming . Can't recommend enough .ask for BETTY as your guide if you can
Would really recommend this tour for those looking for a nice blend of "non-commercialized" tourism but still being with a group. Pickup went smoothly from Playa Del Carmen (near 5th Ave). The entire crew was very professional - tour guide (Jack) was super friendly and informative, the driver did a great job navigating the dirt roads to the Cenote (Mayan Massage - inside joke) and the photographer really captured the energy and good vibes of the day. The Tulum part of the trip was probably the least exciting but it was still nice to learn about Mayan history from a local guide. By far the highlight was visiting the dry and wet "cave" cenotes. Snorkeling in the wet one was a super cool experience and overall this was a much different experience to the other cenotes we had seen in the area, including the massive one near Chichen Itza. The trip to the lagoon for snorkeling was very nice as well and a good way to end the day.On this particular tour they sold pictures from the Cave Cenotes and Lagoon Snorkeling on a USB stick along with photos from other tours the company does (e.g. Whale Sharks) for 40 USD, which I thought wasn't that unreasonable (considering the price of the USB in general).
A really fun experience in Mexico. They were super accommodating and highly recommend. We would definitely do it again!
One of the highlights of my trip to Cancun, Mexico.Tulum was nicely done, trip into the jungle to snorkel and walk through 2 separate Cenotewas just fantastic. Lunch was very good and all you could eat. The snorkel trip was plan B in a river were it entered in to the ocean. The ocean was too rough for snorkeling. The river was lots of fun and a lot better than open ocean in chop. Ride into the jungle was pretty rough with 20 minutes of bouncing and swerving. A long fun filled day that I would do again!!
