Upon hotel pickup in the morning, your friendly guide will greet you with coffee, chocolate and pastries. Sit back and relax aboard your air-conditioned vehicle en route to Puerto Morelos, where cenotes unique to the Yucatan Peninsula await. Learn about the unique geological formations of the water-filled caves, connected by a network of underground rivers, as you explore them with your small group.
The four different types of cenotes you’ll visit symbolize natural elements: fire, water, earth and wind. Each one of these cenotes is a different age, thus giving each a very unique environment from each other. Each Yucatan oasis was considered a source of life to the ancient Maya and represented an entrance to a world of communion with the gods. Your guide will share Mayan legends and mysticism in an atmosphere of fun. Learn about the myth of the alux (spirit beings that guard their cenote domains), which share characteristics of the jungle and its waters.
K’aak (fire) is an open cenote with underground currents, surrounded by vertical walls and exceptional landscapes. Interact with nature as you paddle a kayak or float in an inner tube amid the verdant jungle. Visit Ha’ (water), a cavern cenote with aquatic fauna and beautiful rock formations, and explore underwater gardens of water lilies in a stunning natural setting. Snorkel in calm waters.
Next, rappel down the rock walls of Lu’um (earth), a young and semi-open cenote. Here, water flows horizontally and connects to the aquifer through tunnels and caves. Finally, Zoom along parallel ziplines at Lik’ and feel your adrenaline pumping on this high-flying adventure across the pool. Enjoy swimming in the slow-flowing water of this ancient cenote, which is fully exposed to the lush vegetation due to its collapsed walls.
Enjoy chocolate, coffee and oatmeal cookies upon exiting each cenote, except where lunch is served. You’ll dine on a deluxe picnic, including fussily-vegetable soup with a selection of premium quality cheeses and deli meats, accompanied by a variety of rustic breads and fresh salads. Choose from an assortment of water, coffee, wine and beer (in addition to soft drinks and seasonal fruits en route) before drop-off at your hotel.

We had the best time on our Xenotes tour! The other 5 star reviews were spot on. A couple things to know: confirm exactly where you will be picked up, we didn’t and were in the wrong place. We missed the bus and had to reschedule for the next day. Customer service was excellent though. They provided two towels, one for during the day and one to use at the end if you choose to shower. There are bathrooms, changing rooms and showers at each stop and they provide water and soda at each stop as well. We were really impressed with the safety precautions and how well organized the trip was. Be sure to buy the pictures! It was such a relaxing day since we didn’t have to worry about phones\cameras getting wet and their photos were better than we would have taken.
From our prompt pick up from our hotel...to the drop off to our hotel...our cenotes tour was absolutely amazing...our guide miguel was fun and insightful...we had a good group of people on our tour who were happy and excited as we were which made it that much better..highly recommed this tour
This was a great experience!! Each Xenote was different and you could be as involved as desired. Highly Recommend!
AMAZING! !This was the highlight of our Cancun trip! Definitely worth the price, although two other couples paid 65 less with another company.
I had a great time going to the 4 cenotes and felt very safe the entire time between the guide, life guards, and life vests. We started at Lu'um which had the rappelling but it was really more like a zip line that went down almost vertically into the cenote. The water was a little chilly but it was fun jumping off the rocks into the cenote. Next we went to Lik and did zip lining multiple times which was a lot of fun. There was also a place to jump from but it was too high for me! Then we went to Ha and kayaked double kayaks only and snorkeled. Lunch was soup and sandwiches. There were plenty of options for meats and cheeses plus other sandwich toppings. There was also soda, water, wine, and beer available. Finally we went to K'aak for zip lining, a water slide, floating down a river, and another place to jump into the cenote. The entire trip was awesome and so was our guide. There was also a photographer taking pictures the entire time which could be purchased. You only purchase the photos of the people in your group. I got 71 pictures for 49 USD and think it's a great deal since I didn't have to worry about keeping up with a camera or worrying about dropping it in the water. I'm assuming that the price for the photos depends on how many pictures are taken since everyone in our group had a different price. I would take this tour again if I came back to this area.
What a terrific time our family had on the Cenote Adventure. Props to our fantastic guide, Amet. He took us through four cenotes that were beautiful. We rappelled, kayaked, slid, cliff jumped, swam, snorkeled, and took in the beauty of nature around us. The tour was well managed with the perfect amount of time at each cenote. Amet made sure everyone had fun, even on the travel between cenotes. Everyone on the tour had a blast. Highly recommend.
This tour was a lot of fun! We had a small group with 15-20 people, and we had Yoshua who was our driver, tour guide, lifeguard, waiter, etc. Also, we had one more staff who went everywhere with us as our paparazzi to take our photos.
We got picked up at 9am in front of the hotel. Yoshua went to a few other hotels to pick up more people. Once the van was almost full, he took us to the cenotes.
There were four cenotes that we visited -- fire, water, wind, and earth. Each one had different activities that included water slides, zip-lining, cliff jumping, rappelling, snorkeling, kayaking, and swimming.
A build-your-own sandwich bar with different breads, meats, cheeses, and condiments was included in this tour. Drinks available were water, soda, beer, coffee, and hot chocolate.
We got back to our hotel around 5:45pm. I highly recommend this tour!
This tour was a lot of fun and our guides were great! Also convenient having someone follow you around to take photos.
This was a really great time. This tour company really thought of everything and the guide was very nice I don't remember his name unfortunately. It was the best day of my vacation. I would highly recommend.
This tour is awesome. I will do it again probably December. Our guide is very knowledgeable
So fun! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would recommend it to anyone who will be staying in Cancun. Our tour guide Josh was knowledgeable and and made the tour tons of fun!
This excursion was fun, adventurous and the guides were great.....highly recommended.
We loved this tour. Our guide, Luis, who was also our driver, was energetic, funny and with us throughout the day. He really helped make sure everyone was having fun. The real attraction, though, are the cenotes. Each of the 4 cenotes have different features and activities, but all of them involve plenty of time in the clear, clean waters. We spent just enough time in each to have fun, but not so much that we became bored with any one activity. From zip lines to cliff diving, there was never a dull moment. The 4 cenotes are relatively close to each other, so we didn't lose much time driving, once we made it to the first one. Everyone wears a life vest, by law, so safety was never an issue. Teenagers and parents alike found much to love about this tour. There was always access to facilities and drinking water. The picnic lunch was high quality. They even served fresh tuna. There was enough food for everyone to have seconds, which was nice. We had been so active everyone was ready for a break and for some sustenance. This tour might not be appropriate for young children, but everyone in our group thought it was the bomb. My teenage daughter rated it at a 9.9999 out of 10. The only minus was that the van was packed, and the air conditioning just couldn't keep up. As a result, it was often a bit stuffy, but once you get to the water, no one cares. A few recommendations... You might want to have a snack before you start the day. Definitely wear water shoes or sandals that won't come off easily. They provide a towel, so you don't really need to bring one. Finally, come prepared to have fun.
Absolutely amazing! I would 100 recommend. Our instructor Gabrielle was the best.
My husband and I went on this adventure with 5 other great friends and each and everyone one of us LOVED IT!!!! Isiah - our guide, was right there next to us, zip lining, and JUMPING OFF THE CLIFFS!!! we went to 5 different Cenotes, with 4 different zip lines the one going down straight down into the cave they considered rappelling. Along with his supervisor Alisha and MR. Paparazzi himself the best photographer in the world made this an experience, none of us will ever forget!!! We had a go-pro, but nothing will match the amazing pictures he took - make sure you buy the package - it is well worth it! THANKS all for a FANTASTIC Day!!!! The Jerzy Crew!
This trip was absolutely brilliant! Amet Diesel is an engaging, amusing and knowledgable guide and makes the whole experience fun. There is some driving between the Cenotes, but Amet's harem scarem technique had us there in no time, bouncing merrily along the way down the potholed and pitted tracks. It is offroad, be aware.
We were lucky to have a small group of 6, adventuresome folk who weren't afraid to get involved in everything and where the chaps involved turned into 12 year old boys at the thought of jumping off things, doing stupid stuff on the zip wires and seeing just how far they could push the activities.
Speaking of the activities, there is plenty of variety throughout the day - the differing cenotes all offer something beautiful and breathtaking and the equipment provided for the activities is new, sturdy and high level. We rappelled, kayaked, zip lines, snorkelled, swam and hiked through the jungle being snapped all the while by the group photographer. The photo's were also surprisingly good value, as unless you have a GoPro you're not going to capture much! You're also not going to capture them from the same angles. 89 for 163 personal photos was certainly much better value that the 38 for 2 photos at Xcaret!!
The food was hot, filling and local - plenty of choice and it felt like lunch was there to be appreciated, not just served as a tick box item on the excursion list.
You do need to be able to swim averagely well, and certainly being able to conquer fears of heights and jumping off things helps. If you're expecting a museum like tour, shuffling round taking photo's, you're not getting it here and frankly, you're just doing it wrong.
If you're going to do a tour excursion, please please do this one, it's worth every penny. Be prepared to get involved, be prepared to be adventurous and be prepared to be blown away by it.
