Carlos and Susanna were our tour guides. They spoke perfect English and Spanish and offered information in both languages. The bus picked us up timely. While en route to Chichen Izta, Carlos provided the history and other interesting background information about the sites we were visiting. He also taught us a few Mayan words and phrases and explained the Mayan numerical system. The buffet lunch was delicious and provided many vegetarian options. We had the opportunity to purchase our Mayan Sol y Luna personality profiles at the Mayan village where we had lunch--a fun piece of entertainment! I definitely recommend this tour! And hopefully Carlos and Susanna will be your guides!
Good tour, accomodating staff. Would go with them again. Knowledgeable tour guide. Con: maybe they should skip the gift shop since they are the same souvenirs at Chichen Itza.
This is one of the best guided tour ever had. The best of all is the friendly crew, their archeological knowledge, guided tour, local food, delicious lunch buffet, destinations, timely allocation, comfort bus and amazing experience!
A long day but what a great day, pictures can't really do Chichen Itza justice you have to see it with your own eyes, amazing. Our tour guide Ricciardo was fantastic, very knowledgeable, funny, thoughtful and kind. My 11 year old son loved it all but his favourite part was the Ik Kil Cenote at the end of the day.
We had a great day! The tourguides gave us a lot of interessting informations about the Mayas. They spoke verry good English and Spanish. Lunch was delicious.
Learned so much about Mayan history, how ahead of the times this culture was thanks to our tour guide. He filled us withso much info on the way to. Schedule wastolerable, Chichen Itza was the highlight and the cenote swim was the refresher!
Resting in Cancun and not going to Chichen Itza - it's just barbarity. The tour is combined, it gives an opportunity to get acquainted with the typical colonial town of Valladolid, explore Chichen Itza and visit and swim in the Ik-Kil cenote. When you are in Chichen Itza, one immediately recalls Mel Gibson's Apocalypto. Be sure to choose a tour with a visit to Ik Kiel cenote.
Our guide, Miriam was so knowledgeable and a lot of fun. We loved the tour.
I enjoyed this tour! Excellent tour guide, Carlos Moo. The food was perfecto. The history and personal stories from Carlos made it unique and rich.
Excellent trip. Highly recommended. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and had a keen sense of humor.
The tour was amazing! Our guide Ricardo was full of knowldge, very humble and kept us engaged throughout the trip. We had a great time and will define recommend to our friends and families.
Started with Valladolid. Our tour guide Ricardo was very knowledgeable and his narrations were interesting and kept the audience engaged. On our way to Chichen Itza, we stopped at a Mayan village. Souvenirs were pricey, apparently more authentic. Food had limited options for vegetarians like us. The main attraction Chichen Itza lived up to its hype. Medium who was our official guide at the site did not have the benefit of a mic and a speaker system and had to speak at the top of her voice to be heard by the large group. She was very informative. We almost got lost after the tour. It's good to stay with the group even though free time is given to explore on your own. You can do souvenir shopping where you stay either Cancun or Mayan Riviera. Ik Kil Cenote wrapped up a fantastic day tour. Wish we had more time at Ik Kil to enjoy the refreshing water. Ricardo gave a list of things tourists generally leave behind and it was very useful. We were picked up on time and overall, time and money well spent on this tour.
It was an amazing tour and very educational. Through this tour, you will engage with and experience many Mayan culture. Chichen Itza is definitely worth a visit while you are here.
Chichen Itza is a wonderful place and it's one of the must see's for anyone visiting Cancun. Tour was very good and the tour guide Ricardo Richard is a brilliant person. Ricardo is a highly learned historian and explained intricate details about the place and the people at that time. We learnt lots of info about Mayans from Ricardo. Best part of the trip was a personalized Birth certificate with predictions made by real Mayan people. We only wish we had more free time at Chichen Itza.
We had such an amazing tour this pas Monday, Ricardo was very informative and shared his knowledge concerning each location we visited. We highly recommend this tour!!
I really enjoyed this tour. Valladolid is a very small town, with a nice old church and in front a garden where people can walk and sit down to chat and enjoy the day and conversation. Chichen Itza is majestic and very much worth going. Guides were good and informative, lunch nothing special.
