Went to Cancun spring break 2k19 and this trip was my favorite part for sure! I would recommend bringing a backpack with a good amount of water, some bathing suits, towels and sunscreen. Bring a little money Incase you want to buy something while you visit, but you don’t technically need it, we spent very little. I did research before going and was so excited to see all the stuff up close, and going off the beaten path at the sight will lead you to see some diverse structures you probably won’t read about. There is no way to see it all with your time there. But you will have time to see a lot. Worth the money! You’ll be glad to have a day where you did something More than getting drunk at a pool bar.
Great tour. Picked us from our hotel, took us to the coach bus. Tourguide explained history of chichen itza and gave us time to sleep. Had lunch at mayan village. At Chichen itza, guide explained to us more of the site’s history. And gave us time to explore The place on our own. We stayed there for 2.5hrs. Then went to cenote- that was a lot of fun but 50minutes is not enough. Life vest is mandatory and i recommend getting a locker too. Passed by at a Colonial village where there are lots of vendors selling local delicacies. Churos elotes, and coconut icecream were good. On the way back, we were given time to take a nap.
Chichen Itza is a must to visit. The tour includes a stop at the colonial town of Valladolid, and of course a dip at a Cenote. The tour was great, all staffs are polite, and helpful. It’s a great experience. We made friends on our trip. Unforgettable.
the tour guide was very informative about the mayan culture and history. It was a very hot day but worth the experience to go. the small vendors are very pushy to have you buy things but willing to negotiate prices. the cenote zahamal was just AMAZING and refreshing to end the day wished we had more time to be there. would deff recomment to do this tour
It was an awesome day tour. Chichen Itza was the highlight of the day and the visit to the cenotes was top-notch. I wish we have more time swimming but its all good. The local lunch was delicious and filling but I really don't care for the shopping area stop. Overall great tour every dime.
Our tour guide Jorge, assistant and bus driver were all amazing. My husband, two kids(7 and 8) and I all like loved it! We visited a small Mayan reserve to have a buffet lunch, Jorge guided us through Chichen Itza and provided wonderful information, we swam in a cenote and finished the day at a small town. I only wish we had more time to spend at each but understand the time constraints since we got to see so much.
Highly recommended for anyone that wants to learn about the Maya culture, and Chichen Iza. Food was amazing!!
I loved the tour and the bus ride was very comfortable did have a very informative and patient guide ..
Bonus was the lunch at the small village near chichen itza where we stopped before heading to pyramid..
Overall, tour operator were punctual, friendly and professional. and the ride and other arrangements were done very well.
The tour guild was great and my family and I had a wonderful time in Cancun. There is so much to see
in Cancun that you simply run out of time to do all the things that Cancun has to offer, I would love to come back and visit this part of Mexico again someday.
The cenotes would have been more enjoyable if we had more time. It takes a bit of time to undress and store items in lockers then to get dried redressed and back on bus was a task. Do consider giving customers a little more time!
Hot ! Lol..but an overall great visit. The sites were amazing. Great tour guides and great food at the local stop.
Fantastic guides. We learned so much about the Mayan culture. We thought we were just getting transportation and a guide at Chichen Itza, but the whole day was guided. It was a real cultural experience of the Yucatan. Highly recommended!
The tour guide was super funny and the entire tour was very organized from beginning to end. I'd strongly recommend this tour!!!
Great Tour, Well Priced. Hotel Pick-up is prompt. I was a few minutes late getting to the hotel lobby for pick up and almost missed it. I learned a lot about Mayan culture and enjoyed seeing Chichen Itza.
Love, love love!! So much was done during this tour. Awesome staff , truly proud and passionate people. Very informative. Lunch was great, it was a buffet style with so many option. Chichen Itza was amazing!! Would highly recommend!
Alex was our guide and he is just amazing! We could not have had a better experience. He as attentive and informative all the time. I would do it again any time!
Alex is an amazing guide! He spoke both English and Spanish with no accent and introduced everything. Though we spend some time in the Maya shop, but no one push you to buy things if you don't want to. It was a great experience.
Excellent trip. Our guide Raimondo was excellent. Half the price of what hotels charge you.
My family and I enjoyed the tour immensely, despite the sales events that took place several times. The tour guide was wonderful, but the stops were made out to be for the local Mayans. We all appreciated hearing about the locals and meeting them in person, but others might feel the stories contrived. You can always choose NOT to buy the local liqueur and NOT to pay for the local shaman to bless you. The visits to Chichen Itza and Valladolid were on our own, and we would have liked more time to explore the latter. This same tour was available for several different prices, so shop around. Perhaps ours, being cheaper than other tours, spent a bit more time dropping off people at various hotels at the end, although pick-up was only at a couple of places.
This is the most AMAZING tour I have taken while visiting Mexico. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and focused on ensuring that everyone had a great experience. He spoke in English and Spanish and continued to point out key historical factors as well as misconceptions that many people have regarding the Mayan and Mexican Cultures! I give everyone a 100 job well done!!!!
I recommend that you take this tour because of the costs, features, and experience of the guides! I felt safe and I will surely visit and use this tour company again!
